Farming Simulator 2017 Timelapse #23: Worst Bale Collector Ever!

- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
We've a harvest and full planting to get done today. Not an easy task but I think we're up to it! We're getting a new baler to replace the round baler, and we're also getting a brand new Arcusin, which unfortunately turns out to be one of the worst engineered machines we've ever had the misfortune of using... After a quick trip back to the store to return it, we get the bigger one on hire and things are back on track!

You should get a grain cart so you don't have to run around the field with the semi. There is a modified Kroeger trailer that you could use as a seed tender. It's the Kroeger TKD 302 overload. It is a modification of the in-game 302 with an auger put on the back.

For the next series you should play on südhemmern or suedhemmern! It's a really well made map with LOTS of new features, one being brewing beer! At least you can check it out and see if you like it. Thanks

Yeah, annoying thing is I can't reupload the video without it being counted as a new one, so it's there for ever now!
Do you get the fertilizer and seed off the conveyer belt just by placing the pallets by the start of the belt?
I tip the pallets into a trailer and tip them onto the floor, I've not tried just using pallets in front of a belt though
You are aware of the circumstance, that you can attach the arcusin forStack directls behind your baler? Not only will you spare one step of work but the bales will always be aligned perfectly and there will be evenly spaced stacks of 4 bales in your field, instead of a big amount of single bales.
It is a really great tool... one just has to know how tu use it :)
You are aware that 1: No, you cannot attach the Forstack directly behind the vanilla bigbaler since it does not have a hitch, and 2: That it only puts the bales 3 high, not 4?
I'm sure you're thinking of the bigbaler modpack that is in the modhub, combined with the Quadro stacker mod. That one you can attach behind the modded bigbaler.
The ForStack is not a great tool, even if you pretend you know how to use it :)

That first bale stacker was for being pulled behind the baler, it holds 3 and drops then on top of each other so a loader can come along and pick em up
That one isn't, or at least it's not with the standard machines, it offsets in order to work which would put it out of line of the bales. It should be though, it would work a lot better if it was a baler trailed one

I run a combine during the fall with beans and corn. with big combines like that we'd usually put the duals on the front and leave the truck on side of the road because they create a lot of compaction which isn't good
Probably not a bad idea, I'm hoping to get a bit of a road train going with the truck as well at some point

I know you don't want to get any mods yet but Notice you spend a lot of time driving the combine and semi to another field separately. I don't know if you have it but you should get the follow me mod. I love the timlapse.

Hey Frithgar, I don't know if you know this but there is a square bale wrapper out in the new Kuhn dlc.
why at me dont't work to use that sowing machine if the field isn't cultivated or plowed??

that 3 bale stacker I hates it. it was such a faff around. I'm sad right, I I wanted to know how long it'd take me to stack a field comparing that to telehandler and surprisingly it was quicker me doing the job manually than using that
Yeah, I figured it would end up being faster to use the telehandler!

Get a bigger fertiliser sprayer. That one is too small for the size of your farm

You are sick of spreading fertilizer? Ther is a prototype attach0ment on the market that allows you to adjust the spreading width seamlessly from 12 up to 50 meters.... I use it and am very satisfied. (the Use of fertilizer is adjusted as well of course. so the wider you spread the more you use.)

The small Arcusin ain't that hard to use, you just need to practise a bit..
i think you need to replace that case bevause its done over 55 hours whic isn't much in real life but in the gane ot is quite a lot

I do not want even imagine what look your elbows and knees. Sit all day at the computer, without any movement. 6 hours without any break. You not'll live a long time with such a lifestyle. Go to job, begin to LIVE!
I record in 1 hour blocks, then get up and take a break and stretch. I just make a note of where I am etc so I can start recording again from there and join the sections seamlessly. You'll notice sometimes that all the tracks on the ground vanish when I switch to in cab view for a minute, that's me taking a break!

Sorry for saying but I feel like your time laps lost some of its glory compared to 2015 farm sim I don't know what you changed in editing 2017 but I think your 2015 where a little better edited. I still watch all your videos as you know you are the best
I've not changed anything that I'm aware of, is there anything specific you can point me at? I'm always striving to improve so would love to know what it is that you think is causing the dip in quality. Do you think it's specifically how I'm editing them or do you feel it's partly to do with the map?
Frithgar i feel like it is how you in fs15 when you did a job you First showed it a little slower and then you really speed it up and I kind of liked that a lot and I feel like you don't use that method anymore
