Farming Simulator 2017 Timelapse #31: Selling Silage!

- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
After a good night's sleep, we've a few chores to get done, including buying in some pig feed as we're running out of some of the grains we need. Once the chores are all done, as well as selling our very first silage at the BGA, it's back on with the harvest. Today we're also planting all our fields with oilseed radishes to see how they compare with running all over the fields with a fertilizer spreader. Once the harvest is finished, we've got a lot of work to do at the BGA selling silage and rolling clamps with the JCB, as well as setting up some of the Grimme conveyors to try and sell larger quantities!

Did he use grass or corn chaff for silage?? Trying to figure out which is better and cheaper
how do you put the the dilate in the pit like that
Get a new holland t9 and then get a weight for the back and wheel weights, that thing in total weight a lot. That is what I use and it takes me about 3 mins to roll down a good bit of chaff. I know it is expensive but maybe in the future.

You should put corn on all the bigger fields because your pigs take 50% corn and then do wheat/barley on a couple other fields and then canola/sunflowers on the rest and harvest potatos or sugar beats every 2-3 seasons

That's in the modhub, in the beta section. There are two UAL trailers that do it, one is a full length one that I use here, the other is a shorter one.
So what's the difference in making silage from chaff vs making it from grass
In the silage clamp in the game, no difference at all, it ends up with the same product. However, grass can be used for other things, chaff from corn can only be put in a silo

how do you turn on the hazards
I don't remember the default key, I think it's keypad 2 but you'd need to check the controls in the settings menu for it, I've mapped it onto a button on my steering wheel

tthere is a mod which you can compact silage a lot faster with it looks like the roller but then with teeths and blue yellow color
I've got that one, it's part of a pack of weights and things for silage. Might try it next episode to finish compacting this silo

That is how it is for me. I always get too much money but somehow I don't have enough now
I hate this glitch when the harvester struggles at the end of the field, when it tries to lift the header.

buy bigger headers for that combine you can use any headers for it
That's the biggest header in the game, unless we go for a modded one that's bigger. It'll be time to buy a second combine soon though :)
