Florescent orange sounds like a great idea for the darts.
Gotta love the chickens responding to Here chick chick chick!
I enjoy their colorful hair😂😂😂😂😂
That was funny!!! Having like 30 chickens running behind you!!!
"Here chick chick chick" is how a friend always feeds her poultry. They come when called! A very handy thing to have trained critters 😊 !
Love what you’re doing to increase the American bison population! Love bison meat! Your channel is so enjoyable to watch and learn from… very unique! They are formidable beasts.
Consider putting the almost due pregnant mamas in a pasture closer to the barn when the temperatures start to get too hot ... So you can check on them more often and maybe provide more shade. And maybe keep them close for a few days after the red dogs come and then return them to the main herd. I know you're always saying their social, so I'm thinking 10 or so in the maternity pasture at a time. 💖🌞🌵😷
A bison and chicken expert. Wow really?
@@greghamann2099 among other things! 😘
Thanks for sharing your work day on the ranch. Good, to see neighbors helping one another. Blessings to you and your family.
so far loving the ASMR.
I need something like that to move furniture out of the way to clean behind it.
That’s so funny, you feed the chickens the same way as the bison! In a sraight line! 🤪😋
Oh my gosh….that’s a huge amount of babies coming! Lots of luck you guys.
I'm 60 years old and have never farmed or ranched. I'm certainly not going to ever try to raise bison but I can watch this channel for hours and not get bored. I love the footage, the temperament of this family, and seeing the ranching community helping one another. I wish much success to Cross Timbers Bison 🦬
I know from growing up on a farm, that when you get stuck with duals you are really stuck. Some days are like that, where things don't go the easy way. Thankfully not every day is like that. Teamwork helps a lot.
The little red-dog “Tank” was so sweet to watch, coming up to check out the truck. But the sweetest thing was how her Mama licked her, kissing her, letting her get close, trusting Dusty. Amazing ..
That truck was stuck too deep to move…thanks to the skid steer for the rescue👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
OMG you should name that calf TANK! He has a great build. He's going to be a massive beast! I look forward ti watching him grow up. Hopefully? Whos the calf's daddy? Please make my day and say BIG JOE!!!😂❤
I believe dusty said the mother was pregnant when rescued. That's what I got out of it. Like anyone could be wrong and I'm sure everyone will let me know if I am. Ready set . . . . . . Go!
All the bison are really looking good and healthy. Can't wait for calfing season and all the new babies arriving. Always expect the unexpected on the farm. The friendships and commadrie between friends and neighbors, always there to help each other when needed. Hope Marissa is feeling better soon.
Beautiful background where Y'all were fixing the fence. Glad you got the truck out and were able to get your hay hauled. Enjoyed watching you out with the bison. GOD bless y'all.
Thanks for another good video ! All your animals look good ! Hope Marissa is feeling better soon !
I’ll tell you Dusty, all of this is very interesting to me…I really like watching all of it. Thanks for filming. Pretty good mess there. 3 hrs! Hope Marissa is feeling better..lots going around everywhere. You all take care. ❤️
Thanks Marshal. Oh what fun was had by you boys. That’s ranching! Thanks Dusty. Hope Marissa feels better soon.
Hello Dusty and Marisa
What a day hauling hay! No injuries. So, all in all, a win.
I hope that Marisa is feeling better.
Your bison are on their own schedules for calving. It’s the never ending Red dog season!
Blessings to you all ❤~ Linda
1:25 put the chicken feed on the dirt, they will scratch up the dirt and get some air in those bald spots, add a little poop, and maybe plant a seed or two. If you feed on the grass, they're just tearing up the grass. 💖🌞🌵😷
They may also harvest some bugs, beetles, slugs or worms from the grass.
Good luck with getting anything to grow where you feed the chickens. they can scratch & eat a new patch of green down to bare dirt in a few hours. Dusty’s chickens have access to pasture all around, but they seem to stay around the barn to run for shelter from hawks etc.
@@prarieborn6458 i had zero issue with chickens ruining my yard. Perhaps, when the soil is healthy and grasses are well rooted the grass can withstand a llittle scratching. I had about 200 chickens in 2/3 of an acre.
It’s great to have family and friends to count on 👍🏻
WOW what a muddy mess. Love that sunset t. Just beautiful.
VIDEO SUGGESTION: Could you do a video showing the desired characteristic you look for when purchasing a bison confirmation, head back les ect. Most of us don't know what we are looking at when looking at the bison. I know cattle well but only know what i have learned through you with bison. You are a teacher at heart and i think a lot of ppl would like for you to go over characteristics to show us what you look for.
Good evening from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures and your herds
I am in Syracuse as well!! I have been following these guys for a while now. Good people!
Hi my friend me too
Mama said there'd be days like this. The "kids" are all lookin' good there Dusty.
Hey Baker family, I’ve had a bit of a rough day so to watch you feed the CRT menagerie was so relaxing and pleasant.
Thank you Dusty! You are not only an awesome rancher, great daddy, and sweet husband, you are also a very good therapist. Thanks for the reset.
Who knew …
Than truck was sink, sank, sunk.🤣 Mercy.
Of course why wouldn’t the day have a twist in it! Lol. Glad things worked out okay. Great video. ❤❤
Beautiful sunset 🌇
The bison are looking so beautiful.
So glad you shared this. I forgot Daniel had mentioned it till you shared. What a day. Thanks Marshall for helping out CTB and Dusty. Wish it had gone smoother.
Love the “ here chicky, chicky😂❤❤❤
Get Well Soon Marissa .
Love your videos and enjoy watching them every time. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the bison and other animals
I love watching men do stuff like pulling that truck and hay trailer out of the mud. All that power in the tractor and skid steer.. such handy rigs and storng men to have around. There is nothing worse than having a couple of tons of iron stuck in your pasture, or back yard or somewhere far away from home. As a Grandma, “i don’t know nuthing” about machinery. . It is an awful helpless feeling. The local county code enforcers require any vehicle on rural property to be in running condition and licensed, or “under repair” ie up on blocks over a raised gravel “bed’ Very enjoyable video.❤
Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Greetings from Ontario Canada
Love to watch your videos so much. Have my favorite ones, Eleanor, Big Joe , Dunbar, and Hoss. Thank you for sharing them with us. ❤
Hello from Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦
Well, everybody gets stuck ever once in a while. Maybe not that bad. Lesson learned Thank you for sharing! 😂
Ah the joys of ranching! Seldom a dull moment, always one step from absolute chaos! My Dad would just shake his head & send me to say we'd be late to supper.🤗 Y'all are top hands Dusty. You adapt & overcome! God Bless. 💖🦬🌹🇺🇸🇺🇸
Charlie's colouring is so cute, when I first saw her I thought she had been playing in the hay 😂😂
Hello from 92596 AKA Winchester, Ca. Stay warm! We are sending lots of rain and cold your way. Not me, mother nature ;)
This is an El Nino weather year which means you get an excess of rain and cooler temps.
While the upper PNW gets drier and less precipitation. Also we get warmer winter temps. We also get warmer and drier summers.
Congratulations on your success, speeches and your mama's and more little red dogs coming soon. Thanks again for bringing back the Bison 👍🌟Many Blessings to you Blessings
Beautiful chickens and Bison Dusty
Big Joe has the perfect name! ❤

Little excitement on the ranch. The sunset was beautiful, and the weather was in your favor.
Thank you for teaching me so much about you, your family, friends, bison and business.
WOW! How exciting Spring will be with so many new red dogs coming. I wish you the very best for your bison mammas. 😊😊😊😊😊
Wow what a day, but you got it done, great jobs ya’ll did 👏👏👏👏❤️🙏🙏
That was really stuck in the mud. Those skid steers are amazing.
I never in my 71 yrs thought I’d be fascinated by bison herd , but I just love the updates on the herds .
I’m a more city born and raised so not like I ever lived on a farm.
My husband was raised on milking cow farms in PA but I had never been to a farm until I started dating his friend , then him.
I love history , always have so I think that trying to bring these native animals back to help environment, as the wolves have done is great ….so frustrating that “humans “ have to destroy the habitats then the animals before they realize there are links to everything
Habitats or habits?
@@joywebster2678 habitats …. Ever hear of auto correct
The dog is still jumping pretty high on the truck. That’ll change with age. Sweet dog! ❤️
That's a really neat trailer, the way both sides flip down.. Beautiful sunset.
Hi Dusty. Praying for Marissa that she feels better. Love watching your videos. Learning a lot about bison. Hopefully you'll have a great breeding season. Will be great watching for the red dogs. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Loved the video. Thanks
Might have had a crappy day but the sunset sure looked amazing. You also got a bunch of hay! God bless.😊❤
Never a dull moment working a ranch 🦬
These bison are looking great. Your ranch is growing. More red dogs coming. Have a question.. would it help to put so many at a time in the smaller pen to dart each? Of course it’s not easy to corral them. I admire you and Melissa so much for keeping up with the bison life and new advancements. Thanks,
Dusty. Boy that truck was buried deep. Thank goodness you had those tractors to get it out.
Oh my goodness what a stressful day 😮
Interesting video. Lots of work getting those hay bales. Animals look very healthy. Cora, chickens, bison, dogs. The South Dakota conference was interesting. I keep saying you should write a book. You’re a very good teacher & your knowledge of Bison is vast. Sorry it ended being a long day. I guess that’s part of ranching.
Daniel put his own set of ruts in the mud.😂
Love the video and a great sunset with you n Kevin fixing the fence. A quick question. Would the cows, that birthed late, as I recalled there were 3 or 4. If they were taken out of the pasture n with no breeding bulls next year would they cycle at the normal time? Late fall early winter doesn't sound good for a few days old calf.
Hi, love the Honey BBQ snack sticks. My granddaughter likes them also... keep up the good work..I would also put the mamas up close to the barn so you can keep an eye on them.
Very entertaining video! You met your challenges with ingenuity and equipment! Way to go!
Gives another meaning to a needle in a haystack!!😀
That was a gorgeous sunset.
Brilliante maneuvering!!! Amazing how you did that!!
We had a good soak in Checotah. A much needed rain. And I did get stuck and unstuck again.
I bought some of your snack sticks. I really like the honey BBQ best.
Learn so much from your videos. I’m from Los Angeles Calif.
Beautiful cat
Meant to add to you and your family and all the ranch characters 😅❤
You should call that big calf either Little Joe, Danny Boy(or Dan for short) or even Blocker. See where I’m going with this?😂🤣
Perfect name for the bull, TANK.
Fun,fun,fun!😂😂😂
Have a good one Dusty, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
You gotta laugh when the best plans go south. Well done!! God’s blessings
WOW, you guys sure know how to have a good time down there in Texas!
You could use broken bales as part of the rut repairs...
Can you share plans for potentially 30 calves. On land availability
That was a day of "now what." Enjoyed watching.❤😊
Wow, that's an awesome video. Love following y'all ❤️ watching you from NY. Thank you for sharing your family life with us ❤❤
Hey dusty and family.❤
Love the Baker family 🦬💗🦬
Belle Star is really pretty. Wow, ranchin' for sure. Kept after it until you got it done.
I got to add that it's funny how has Maya gets older she turns whiter when my Wiley who is exactly like Maya turns blacker. But their faces remain the same and just as adorable as ever
My Heeler is getting whiter and whiter as he ages!
Glad that you guy's got it all worked out
Love the chickens ! All the bison look great !
Yep. Hear you're likely to get maybe 5-6 inches of snow this week. That'll be great for the bison. Good video, Dusty. Loving the herd. North in Massachusetts.
Wow! What a day!!!
Love the chicken feeding!
