I've been using a pneumatic undercoat gun that has a 360 wand and a short angled wand. I undercoat with the epoxy after metal work then follow up with a cavity wax later after paint. The epoxy seems to flow into tight areas better than the wax. Both work good.

Cavity wax is commonly used in the collision industry. I've personally had better luck with Por-15 using a long flexible extension.
I’ll never use por again, used it on my personal car within a year rust was popping through.
