Unboxing and assembly of the prebuilt bike. Canyon provides a basic toolset and torque wrench for the assembly process. They build and set the bike up completely at factory, then brake it down to fit into the box. If you've ever flew with a bicycle, the same process.

Does it come with the cat in the box?
Canyon should have made the Suntour fork stickers match the gold on the frame; that would have looked so clean
Thata fork is crap... Its way over damped in the cold. Stickers is the least of its problems 😒
@@tamasstrezi3873 is the fork that bad? I’ve been out on mine and it feels fine but I’m reasonably new to things.
Makes me really stoked for when they get to the US! Gonna be my first real mountain bike.
Will be a great start! I'd suggest to get the one with the RockShocks fork.

Szia strezi! Pont ugyan ilyen bringát kerestem mint felszereltségre mint kinézetre és sehol semmit nem találtam ekkora árban! És meg láttam az értesítést hogy új videó nézem és csorog a nyálam! Bele szerettem egyszerűen! Nagyon megtetszett ő lesz mostmár biztos a választott, januárban meg is rendelem, várom a videókat a géppel addig is. Gratula😀

Thanks for the video, Tamas. I saw somewhere in the comments that you upgraded to a 12 speed. Did you have to change the hub?
Upgrading to 12 speed is possible with the SRAM NX cassette(or Sunrace have one, also) on the Shimano HG driver body. Ultimately I swapped out the wheels, and went with a lighter SRAM GX 12 speed cassette on the XD driver of the new wheel.

Nekem egy kerdesem lenne: miert ezt a Stoic-ot valsztottad es nem a 3 ast ? Gondolom az a 300 euro nem volt szempont amivel az dragabb lett volna, megis latom erre esett a valasztasod :)
Gondolom az előző videóban elmlndottak miatt. A Speicrol át fog menteni sok mindent.
@@vasingerke Ertem en de nem hiszem hogy az egesz valtoszettet es a villat is kicsereli ... es ez a ket dolog ami kiemelkedoen jobb a 3ason mint ezen. A droppert azt elhiszem ra teszi, anelkul eleg idegesito az ilyen tipusu agressiv enduro.
Ahogy kolléga írta, meg elmondtam teljes garnitúráim vannak immár nem használt, vagy még nem használt állapotban. Teló is ;)

The Suntour is bad. I replaced it after like three rides with a Pike. Night and day.
What size pedals do you have because I will get a stoice 2 and I want to get pedals that will fit but I don’t know what size I need to get ??
Gratulálok Tomi! Szuper video lett megint! Nézegetve a gépet pár kérdés eszembe jutott. 1. Ez XL-es méret? 2. Mérted milyen nehéz is így pedál nélkül? 3. Tudom, hogy ez nem volt szempont Neked de vajon miért nincs 2.-ik kulacstartó szem? Ha nem is kulacsnak, egyéb cuccok rögzítésére is jó lett volna. Köszi a válaszokat!

@@vasingerke Köszi köszi, az valszeg az M-es méret mert azt szokták a gyártók megadni vagy az S-eset. Ez meg sztem XL-es. :- ) Persze lehet, hogy Tomit nem is érdekli a tömege és sose tudjuk meg. :- )))

Ott a leírásban hogyt L méret ;) EGyébként oldalról, hosszban kb. akkora mint az XL Spectral :o]

Do the rims have already tape installed to make them tubeless ? Or do you need to buy it seperately?
Hmm, haven't got to it, yet. Just did the 12 speed XX1 conversion. Will let you know ;)

Does that bike comes with a shock pump
Azon gondolkodom eladom a Rockrider 560S-em, és veszek egy ilyet. Hiába össztelós a mostani, ez sokkal veretősebbnek tűnik.
Érdekelne, hogy a súlyáról mit gondolsz. Az oldalon azt írják, 14,89 kiló, viszont nekem a Rockrider-em kb. 13,5 kg. Mennyire tűnik nehéznek menet közben a Stoic?
Nehéz, érzetre nehezebb mint a Spectra (jó, az kb 12 kiló most). Valahogy a hársó traktus érződik súlyosnak, gondolom a nagy kerél miatt. De, faktor az is, hogy erősen sáros mostanában a gumi, az meg plusz kiló egy 29-essel ;) Majd mérek egyet, csak ki kell találnom, hogyan.

Stoic 4-el szemezek, abban tudnál segíti kérlek, Te milyen magas vagy? Nekem a 188-190centimhez az L-es méretet javasolja a Canyon kalkulátora.
Segítséget köszönöm előre is.
192 vagyok, hosszabb lábakkal. Én direkt rövidebb bringát akartam, a fordulékonyság miatt, ezért is lett L-es.

Hi, is the drivetrain on the Stoic 2 a 10 or 11 speed? Canyon can't seem to make up their mind on their site.
Full set of 10 speed deore. Went to garage, and counted ;)

All models and sizes have 140mm forks.

@@tamasstrezi3873 I've never used a dropper post, can you get enough height on the saddle, or is the post on the minimum insertion, because if i went XL would i have enough room for a dropper?
@@stevebennett3587 You lost me there. Anyhow, first there is no dropper post in this video, just a regular one. There is plenty of space in this frame for a dropper to slide in, also extended a dropper is as long as a regular one. From there you'll get anywhere from 150mm to 215 of drop, which makes all the difference! The dropper post is the biggest innovation in MTB in the last 20 years ;) Especially if you are tall(er) than me!

@@georgehealy8350 L turned out to be fine. Only problem is that the frontend is really low, hard to pick up for a wheelie or manual...
But in all honesty, I'm back on the Spectral which is a much better bike, everywhere ;)

No peadals in the box, as normal. These are basic metal platformers.

Kis tekerés után egyre inkább így gondolom én is. Dropperen kívül szerintem egy ideig nem is nyúlok hozzá. Ha csak nem videós téme miatt ...

@@toszonorbert276 Halomban állnak, teljes szettek (XX1 pl.), Pike, XT fékszett stb. a "polcon". Másrészt, a 12-es NX sor sárnehéz, nekem is van egy bontatlan, de nem tudtam magam rávenni, hogy bringára felrakjam ... Szóval nekem, most a legalapabb a lagjobb. Másrészt, a fehér váz is jobban tetszik :D

Egyszerűen ebbe a vág geo- ba és a fehér,fekete színkombóba izomból beleszerelmesedtem. Nagyon filózok hogy rendelek egyet a KTM-em mellé.. Eredeti oldalról rendelted ? M.O-n még nagyon viszonteladókat se találok hogy itthonról rendeljek..
Canyonnak nincsenek viszonteladói, ezért is olcsó! Csak a weboldalról lehet rendelni, pár nap és nálad van és te is rakhatod össze :D Legjobb! Mostanában ezt a bringát használom a legtöbbet, igaz szinte csak a váza az eredeti már ;)

@@anastasioskondakos2090 Stoic 2 seems to be more trail oriented and GC6 more to XC. Depends on what terrain you ride more.
@@anastasioskondakos2090 I bought this for a cheap and cheerful winter project bike. Plan to take it to some serious trails in spring time to see whats what. Fork is rubbish as is. That will be changed. Other parts are OK for the winter. I was mainly looking for a frame, so no complaints.

Yes, and its kind of a crappy box. I flew with the previous one only once, and the bottom taping gave way. But thats their pricing. Bikeguard, my ass (thats what they call it).
