I was in Kigali just last week. I concur that Rwanda is the cleanest African Country and they have progressed very well too. I also went to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and it was such a sombre moment for me. Rwanda has set a new standard for Africa. Even Ubumwe Grande Hotel is a master piece architecturally. I also got to visit Hotel des Mille Collines, they have quite a history. I will visit Rwanda again.

I remember from the film about the horrors of Rwanda, the first thing the cowards colonialists did was to run and abandon the people to their fate.
They must have thought the country was doomed to total and abysmal destruction, but as God will have it, somehow, they bounced back and it became difficult for them to come back and be running things.
Kagame being a man with a political will to liberate his people, made them to rally round him & today, they are far better than before.
I make bold to say that this small country did not produce weapons, & it's the same white guys that abandoned them, that must have sold them the same weapons they used to massacre each other.
God bless Rwanda and her peoples. God bless Africa & shame on bad leaders all across the African continent.

the president is a dictator with a good PR agency... Last time I was there was during the last "election", it's a farce really.... also, that cleanliness ends outside of the capital and people live in poverty, to the point where they have to think about wether they can afford a cab ride to the hospital to save someone's live or just have to let them die...

I went to Kigali last year and had a great time. Its a lovely city to visit. I wish I traveled out to the mountains. Its very safe and clean.

I notice the bikers having on helmet plus the passenger. Nice for security though. But i wil just b wandring how often thwy clean it if they do.
They do clean it often but in case you're concerned about that, there're head covers designed for that purpose that you can buy available everywhere.
Because seatbelts and helmets are mandatory in Rwanda...and Laws and regulations are really followed, huge fines are attached

I wish Nigeria Ghana and the rest of Africa had a president like Paul kagame and also tanzania's president he is awesome as well now just imagine if a place like Nigeria with around 200 million people and the largest economy in Africa had a president like Rwanda president I think Nigeria would be a world-class country far above even Dubai and China and Singapore.

Paul Kagam is an authoritarian leader, which is good. Even Singapore (which Rwanda is modelled after) is considered authoritarian. Paul has visited Singapore a lot, the man who turned Singapore into what it is visited another country to take notes. We can do the same but we must leave tribalism and religious hate behind.

Great content broo. This one thing Nigeria should learn from. History will always repeat its self when you dont consciously prevent it. We had a similar civil war 1967-1970. Where over Three millions lives were lost and no such memorial is in place to correct to wrongs. Which way Nigeria?
