  • Why I Got Arrested in Ethiopia is a Tayo Aina Vlog where I share my unpleasant experiences traveling across countries like Ethiopia, Kenya and South Africa. These are some of the not so cool travel experiences that go on behind the scenes of my travel across Africa. Im sharing this video because I know many other Nigerians might be going through similar experiences. Do like, Watch and Enjoy.

I was travelling to Nigeria from the US, via Rome. Would you believe that the casual Italian Constabulary pulled me out of a crowd to question me about my travels. It was very irritating and I was traveling with a US passport. That was all because I was a black man, wearing expensive track suit, with expensive basketball shoes, and carrying an expensive camera. Oh, I forgot! I was wearing dreadlocks also, before locks became the vogue. You just need to have your wits about it, and know that a lot of people are envious of Nigerians, regardless of their profession. Just pick yourself up and keep on trucking. The stupid government treats them like servants, they have even recently restricted them from marrying each other which is very sad, the living conditions of the Kenyan police is very pathetic, they live in government squatter shacks.
