The Dracosan is a Malcador chassis! It's bigger than a russ! Roughly twice the length of a russ, and a little bit taller.
They look amazing, but suffer from being a very expensive transport. Transporting low quality troops.
I think the battle group is probably best used a cheap allied detachment for your Astartes!
Note, I dont think there is a lascannon option on the Aethon!
Tactically, I see it a medium to light heavy weapons platform. It's there to compliment whatever the rest of your force looks like. If you're going for a tank heavy force, then you bring the Multi Laser or Heavy Flamers or Volkites to deal with chaff. If you're going for an infantry force, you bring the autocannon and hunter killer missiles???
I can see a place using these guys to help protect and ferry around some Veletaris Sections mounted up in either their Aurox or Dracosans. You could form a potent little strike force for around 500/600 points.

Well, if it's a Malcador chassis, then it's a 'missed opportunity' to not include that in the box. Then multiple boxes would make a very valid Solar Auxilia force. I can never quite wrap my head around GW's box contents sometimes.
@@fareastwargaming While I would have preferred to get a Malcador in the battle force, I don't think it's unreasonable to split the two kits separately. The Dracosan has a lot of extra plastic for the troop compartment, and access hatches on the sides of the vehicle. If they were to bundle that in with the Malcador kit, then I'd wager it'd be another £20 extra, for a loooot of parts that wouldn't get used. Remember, you've got all the casemate weapon options + sponson options + hull mount options. That's a lot of gear!!
I do think it's better for the consumer in most cases to split the kits and keep the price lower than what it would be if they were combined.
Interesting video. with regards to legions Imperialis, its not just you guys, I live in the UK and it is sold out everywhere. I waited 2 months for my pre order of the base game to arrive, and now I cant get anything else. Ive had multiple orders cancelled by GW.
Thanks for the info. It's even more shocking that the UK doesn't have any stock. But, not all that surprising. It's forcing people to have to look at 3rd party alternatives.
You said "the" (singular) Warhammer store there. Did the new one shut down?
Sadly there is only the Publika Warhammer store in Malaysia anymore
