- The weather held off for us this morning and my recovering lungs did too. A cracking parkrun which really tests my sense of direction at times lol. I always like to keep someone in my line of sight or who knows where I would end up . This park has various bike trails also which I am yet to have a blast on. Hope you enjoy the video x.

You could certainly have picked an easier one to do. Middleton Park is a stunning place to run but it's also a fair old challenge.

Ps. Did you meet local legend, Terry Forrest? He runs this parkrun most weeks and always wins. Think Terry is in top 5 in the country for parkrun wins.
He's a brilliant athlete but also the most humble, supportive runner you could wish to meet.
Thanks Colin, yes glad to be back at it, really missed my parkrun last week. It really is a great one but of course quite a challenge. I didn't meet Terry but just checked the records and he was 18:19 mins which is obscene especially on a course like this 🤣 Think it'll be a slightly flatter and faster one this week for a little challenge I've set myself 😉
Hi Craig, Middleton Woods looks like a lovely place but that elevation looked tough😩You seemed to be running at a great pace and passing lots of runners so well done, especially if you’re not well. That would have been at 29 minute Parkrun for me😂
Cheers Andy, it was just nice to be back running one after missing last week. Middleton Woods is a cracking parkrun, think you'd enjoy it with the bike trails for after, I keep meaning to go over with the mtb and have a blast round.
@@TheRunningWhale I think I would, I’ve done Roundhay and that was very nice although hilly. We’ll have to meet up at some point in the future, it’d be great to meet you (and Sister Mandy of course😂).
