I was a male professional ballet dancer for a number of years. When I was young and still training, whenever I ventured into adult classes, I would constantly get the least skilled adults "correcting" me. When I politely told them thank you but I have an instructor for all my corrections, they would get really angry. One particularly talentless person told me I'd never become professional if I didn't listen to advice. One unsaid rule in ballet classes is to never correct someone if you're not the teacher of the class. The only random person that ever corrected me and I didn't mind, first waited until I was outside of class. It wasn't a ballet correction. Then he apologized and asked for my permission to be given a correction. That person was Gregory Hines. Even though he was a dancer of godlike status, he still understood proper etiquette. BTW now with that one correction I can say I was trained by Gregory Hines.... LOL. So lesson, if you want to give advice, ask for permission first. Or just type a longly worded message on CZcams.

A man speaks to you, trying to be helpful, and you are immediately offended...
What we see here in action is something nasty we all have inside us called the Secret Mind that is playing out a fake Personality: her interaction with the man is totally dishonest because what is going on inside her is not what she is demonstrating. People call it "polite" and "gracious" -- but it is all deception because inside her there is a very different story going on. A story that THEN she exposes to the world and people talk about and everyone claps saying "wow, you handled it so nicely, what an inconsiderate man..." (because everyone has a Secret Mind that everyone wants to protect, because in your Secret Mind you can be nasty and evil, and no one knows....)

He just offered his experience - but she didn't go there to have his opinion - just to practice. But then again, showing up to practice with that kind of revealing outfit is kind of ASKING for mens attention - and the man just used his advice as a conversation starter. Arrogantly telling someone wha they are doing is wrong, and then saying "I've been doing this 20 years" and then continuing to impose when you can see she is visibly awkward.... I hope you can see the lesson here. I bet he was trying to hit on her, just not in a smart way. A better way to hit on her would have been to compliment her or ask for permission to give a correction on something he noticed. And first, introduce yourself. It's called manners. Hi, I'm SoAndSo, I noticed something about your swing. Do you mind if I give you a pointer. Wow, manners. She probably still would have known much more than him, but by giving her the ability to accept or reject the conversation, he would have been polite and unoffensive. After some reflection, I have adjusted my thoughts. Shame on this girl. She has released a recorded video that denigrates a man who was just, albeit awkwardly, trying to talk to her. She kept the video and used it to gain recognition in the on-line world. Media has inflated her golf status...I don't think that she is a touring pro. She draws attention by wearing no-imagination clothing. Then goes on tv looking like she is a victim on the way to Sunday school. I wonder if this video was staged for the purpose of creating today's narrative.
Georgia not only is pretty, she was gracious. She seems to be a sweet soul. She could have addressed it with the man unagressively and the conversation could have been fun for both of them She chose not to and that is fine. The issue I have is the guy was trying to make conversation and the world is crucifying him for it. He may have messed it up, but he was trying to interact with the people of the world. Don't make him regret talking to others. Handle these situations with dignity and let's all start back enjoying being social in real life and not just via the internet.
