Strongly recommend keeping these rare and unique vehicles stock. Mods don't add value and in time, when these are long out of production, the value will all be based on how close to showroom stock they are (and miles).

Hey Khal,check the tire sizes from front and back and make sure there the same,if this vehicle has AWD,the tire sizes have to be within a certain spec because of the revolutions,it will mess up the differential and awd system, you can either run all the same tires if not type up the sizes in a wheel calculator to make sure there within spec,if not the new differential will mess up aswell for the new owner,you can tell those wheels are not for that car since they poke out.

The reason it’s skipping or not turning because of the offset of the staggered fit wheels, all of the wheels have to be the same diameter on all four corners
I bought a torn up trackhawk back in June 22 at 85k miles. Cheapest in the country without theft report or salvage title, so I knew I was getting a lumper.
Since then, I had to replace the tranny, transfer case, front drive shaft, and front differential because the last owners were jackasses. Luckily the dealership I bought it from slapped on a 36k full drivetrain warranty when I bought it so I was covered on all of it.
I break 100k miles tomorrow and it's crushing life now that i got that fixed. I'll never sell cause I've done so much work on mine and can't ever trust anyone else. Now that I've fixed the worst parts, I'm planning to push this thing hard and far. Ive not gone crazy on mods, but hit 3.0 second 60 time in death valley, so its moving.
I've got the funds to repair anything on it, so plan to take this well into the 300k range and beyond. I'm averaging about 30-40k mi per year so should be an interesting journey

@ohb7517 I didn't buy it to look at it or keep it pristine OG (hence buying a super high mileage version). I stormchase and roadtrip all the time so tend to rack up the miles.
I wanted a vehicle that was stupid fast, could off/soft-road, did well in winter, and was big enough for my 6'4" body to sleep comfortably in while car camping. Trackhawk was the only one that checked off all those practical boxes.

The wheels can cause those axel problem. Throw those wheels in the trash. Oem is better anyway and you know it.

@XyXInc.. As long as the OD of the aftermarket wheel and tire matches the OEM OD wheel and tire, it shouldn't be a problem. Excessive burnouts can destroy a transfer case as well. I've been putting 22" - 24" aftermarket wheels and tires on my SUV's for years, and never had an issue with the drivetrain..
That thing isn't made to handle those huge rims man. It's not a low rider bro. Track hawk stock rims look killer. Go back to stock so u won't have any issues

The one you mention only has access to CAN-C meaning you can’t access the radio etc.. to read trouble codes either.

Sometimes you have to program the computer so those sensors read the different size wheels etc , it will shoot codes and give wrong mph readings and so on

The transfer cases in ALL WK Grand Cherokees are very sensitive to different sized wheels I would highly recommend to put stock wheels back on or else your gonna be putting another transfer case in 5000 miles ask me how I know

@sandra folsom look I don’t want to be an asshole, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. It has to do with gearing. When you make a wheel a larger diameter than what the vehicle is geared for, it has more rotational mass to push. Which then causes excessive wear on things in the driveline like the axles and transfer case.
I mean look at them Big ass wheels! What you expect? That’s some shit you do to a summit or a overland V6 not a SRT vehicle 🚗

Price is nuts, its a salvage you void all manufacturer warranties, those big wheels destroying the transfer case due to wrong gear ratio, new one will go bad again, whats the point, not worth 80k
