I was like "of course, he needs to be fast, he's a libero".
Also me: "That's too fast!".
And he’s 6”0 tall
I'm playing in libero position, so I can say he is really too fast, I want to be like him
@Lyric Donald noz I don't give a shit
@@Vip3R-R what does that have to do with it lol
@@framedmc9519 Libero's are usually fairly short, and i'm pretty sure (not completely tho) that shorter people naturally have faster reflexes (because there;s less of them to move lol) so having a libero whose that tall is pretty rare and he's obviously an incredibly good libero so It's pretty cool. I'm not sure you wanted a ligit answer on why it's cool/worth mentioning but there you go. :)

A good spike is powerful but a great receive is more terrifying
So true. It's borderline demoralizing as an attacker when you think you've got a good kill and a libero goddamn materalizes out of nowhere to go "nope".
@@Priest015 YEAH THATS WHY IM GLAD IM NOT A SPIKER BECAUSE I WOULD GET SO MAD
Bruh I knew a dude who was a senior and on the varsity football team. His spikes were actually terrifying. I remember I took one to the face and my vision was blurry and was dizzy. Had a headache for the rest of the day. Don't even get me started on the time I tried to block it
Terrifying isn’t really the word for it. No one gets scared when someone receives their spike. That’s what happens most of the time. It’s just frustrating and demoralizing. Not scary.
@@SnailHatan I would say it’s still terrifying because of how good they would have to be to get it, and from then on you know even if you get it past the block there’s still a chance the libero will pick it up.
Erik Shoji is over on his channel reacting to haikyu like its impossible while I'm watching him do things that are impossible for most humans over here
fr he was watching his going all "woww look at that i wish i could do that" then hes literally doing this lolol
@@pompenguin they prob did
hes doing stuff thats practically impossible for non volleyball players, but i can assure you, theres plenty of pros with similar if not faster reaction speed and speed in general.
Impossible? No. It just takes practice. When you dedicate your life to one thing, anyone can become amazing at it. Some just more than others

All Liberos are underrated, especially him!
There is 1 libero who isn't. And I think we all know who.

As a fellow Libero, he’s not reacting or insanely fast. Yes, his decision making is incredible, and he’s very fast but it’s rly his prediction of where the ball will end up that makes him so good. The most underrated part of being a libero
As a fellow libero i think his reaction speed is insane he dont hesitate to run after possible touch out and saves it

It’s Brazil what do you expect lmao
Ikr how did they save that🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦
1:06 I love this one in particular.
One of the most difficult. People gag only when they watch someone using their feet, but, using your hands is more difficult because they are shorter and you have to lie well so you don’t hurt.
No.18 didn't try to hit it harder as almost like he believed that Shoji would be there to safe it. Thats some epic anime shit right there
@@robmarth2226 uhh no.. he just saw it was really far away so he pancaked it lol

I didn’t expect something this intense for a damn volleyball video. Damn what a sport!!! Such team dependency and self sacrifice.
A lot of people don't realize how intense volleyball is when played at comp level. They think it's just standing around booping a ball. The amount of times I've had to say to people "come out to one of my games and say that". If you're just standing, you don't deserve to be on the court.

The 5 Ds of Volleyball:
Dive, dive, dive, dive, and dive.
omfg this comment is so underrated
Apart from being so fast, he is able to read every single move of the players he is dealing with, he calculates and predict how will the ball fall or if the player is going to spike short or large, he will always stand in a position that adapts to any possibility. Absolutely incredible, out of this world!

HERO!
Since Haikyuu is pretty much slowed down a lot. I never realized to save a ball from a blocked spike was THIS fast. It's just insane. No wonder Nishinoya wanted to train in block follow more so the spikes don't need to worry about getting blocked
I watched some of his videos but i didn't know he's this good. Damn
He's fast and he's reaction time is scary too, what a player.
Those saves make me emotional!
Everyone talking about his speed and reflexes which I agree are insane, but everyone forgot the insane predictions he make. His mastery of volleyball is beyond this world

Great video, I like that the music is much less bombastic and in-your-face in this one. Where does one find the Russian Super League matches with the English commentator? I’ve never seen that before

0:48 Footfault? That’s whole feet bruh
The ball is already in the air before putting his put, so no foul.
@@heraldbriangigante1218 should be called from rule 11.2.2.1, it did not mention anything about whether it touched the ball before or after, but the whole foot is over without any parts touching the line so should be called
The way we play it here is that if the person faulting isn’t hurting another player’s ability to play the ball it’s totally fine.
@@chonghauhan I don't know about volleyball that much but footfault seems a self-explanatory word.
dictionary: n. the failure of the server in tennis, volleyball, etc., to keep both feet behind the base line until the ball is hit or to keep at least one foot on the ground while hitting the ball.
@@heraldbriangigante1218 this is a different situation, he used the wrong term, its not a foot fault, but when we look at the timestamp he gave its pretty self-explanatory about what he was talking about. The libero went under the net and have his whole foot over the center line, so thats why he called it foot fault(I know its not called that but yea), it should be called since the regulations only protects him if any portion of his foot is touching the center line, but he didnt touch the line at all
