•HA HAAHHH.. Well... This is,, uh--
SO let me rewind---back in 2008, when TDI was the new thing on Cartoon Network, I was really into it, I was like 12; big shipper of Gwen/Trent Courtney/Duncan. Buuut when TDA rolled around, I really didn't get back into it.
Just a few weeks ago, my husband (who is a big Total Drama nostalgia fan and saw all 3 main seasons as they aired) set us on a binge watch, so I finally "caught up" after all these years.
He told me beforehand that Gwen and Duncan became a couple. I was skeptical. Now I love it lol.
Gwen was always my fave, and I loved the chemistry that Duncan and Courtney had circa TDI, but considering she was just a giant walking red flag--

Gwuncan is better then duncey because Courtney dumped him season 2 when she got voted out and kept hurting him purposely plus she made a list of everything that he needs to change about him like- people actually like duncey more-

I personally disagree; especially in TDWT, Courtney made a list of all the things she wanted Duncan to change about himself so they could be together. Gwen accepted him and got along with him, and they had a lot of similar interests. I think Courtney and Duncan have great chemistry, but ultimately don't work out. But I do like how there are different ships for different peoples' preferences; to each their own!
I mean I understand the rest of the seasons but in season 1 trent and gwen were so good same with courtney but i dont wanna argue haha@@LifeIsRandom14
@@user-if2vk6tf5t I agree completely! When I was younger, that was the only season I had ever watched, so I'm still loyal to those ships! Season 1 really was the best!
