These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro - Click show more under the video to read more.
0:05 Hopefully the customer gets the front subframe replaced or stops driving the vehicle. The lower control arm looks fairly new as it has the sticker on it still. The customer never mentioned what other shop apparently did this.
0:18 No brake fluid in the reservoir. A new caliper, bracket and other hardware were installed and the brake system was bled. If you look inside the wheel it looks like the brake caliper or bracket was rubbing against the inside of the wheel for a bit.
0:32 The technician verified with the service advisor that the customer meant the rear wiper and not the defrost or another feature.
0:39 This usually happens after a customer details/cleans their car and then reinstalls the floor mats.
0:51 Brake rotors were replaced. The technician said the vibration was very severe and almost felt at any speed.
1:03 The sensor was properly installed and a new tone ring was installed.
1:17 It's not recommended to install trailer tires on vehicles and I've heard that some places have made it illegal to do so.
1:25 The lube shop thinks that the oil pan threads were most likely damaged from whoever changed the oil last and decided not to chance it.
1:37 I don't think the customer knows how to use a compass and why do they need two?
1:49 The technician said it had a ton of other safety/front end issues that were not recorded on camera.
2:03 A connector on the back of the transmission was leaking.
2:13 Ford F-250 OR F-350 that is very rusty!
2:20 An issue with the electric power steering rack. For that generation of F-150, only the 6.2L still had a hydraulic power steering system.
2:32 From what I've heard there can be a big fine or jail time if caught with a fake inspection sticker like the one shown.
2:39 The technician performed a multiple-point inspection (video) the last time it came in and took screenshots to show the customer that the new brake pads don't have paint on them.
2:48 From the sounds of it the bottom of the compressor rusted overtime and caused this to happen. No injuries happened.
2:54 "New fuel pump, fuel lines, and fuel injectors. rebuilt the Bosch CIS fuel distributor and warm-up regulator. Adjusted the fuel pressures and mixtures and it fires up on the first crank."
    3:07 Outro. Thanks for watching!

First real shop I worked at (I didn't count my time (short time that is) at a national chain that rhymes with 'ears')
I was at 'real' shop for about 3 1/5 years. The shop manager was also brought on at the same time. We noted that the air compressor was 'short cycling' a lot. It was a dual electric double motor compressor assembly. (Two electric motors, and two twin compressors on a massive horizontal tank)
He asked the store manager (that shop rhymed with K of art) if the prior shop manager or staff ever used the ball valves at the bottom of the tank. (it had two of those as well for rapid draining of the water.) Nope!
The air tank was about 80% full of water!!!!! We had to shut the shop down for several hours while allllll that water was flushed out of the air tank into a small floor drain. Rusty and nasty!

@@UHOH3300 Likely they do or did. The in ground lifts have a locking pawl that sticks out at almost the end of the travel. (and that's it) Usually it gets gunked up to the point it is rusted in place.
The really bad part about those lifts is when the main seal starts to leak. It will slowly weep out hydraulic fluid and then you will have compressed air enter the system. It will make the lift start to 'bounce' when it's close to the top of it's travel. And it gets worse the more fluid seeps out.

Got it towed to the closest shop, they said the radiator needed repairs and that I should get a new one.
Went ahead with the repairs, they said it was good to go, gave us the keys.
Drove it for not even 15 minutes and the warning light came on again.
Decided fuck it, since we’re already on the highway, and kept driving letting the air cool it being careful to keep the RPMs down made it to the next town, brought it into the shop to get it inspected. Apparently the last shop didn’t tighten the radiator tubing seals so it was just leaking while driving the whole time.
I still wonder to this day if the radiator even needed repairs at all and if the seals had just become loose after driving for all that time.

You wouldn't get away with that in the UK. Every MoT (Ministry of Transport) test is logged on the database, together with insurance held/not held, annual vehicle tax record. Any Police car fitted with ANPR (Automatic number plate recognition) will get an alarm signal as the car comes into its view. Then it's a roadside stop. If uninsured, the vehicle is seized and taken away and you won't get it back until it is insured and the towing away charges paid. If it's an MoT stop, then they may crawl all over the vehicle and if any major faults are found, it is a Prohibition Notice. In all the cases there is usually a fine and probably penalty points on your licence (6 for insurance failing). If you get 12 points in a year, you're disqualified from driving for a year.

Most states don't have window stickers because it's all tied to the plate. Tbh wasn't sure if that was a fox, hawk or neighbors coonhound noise. It was chicken murder though. 😅

I always find your videos amazing. I just can't believe the state of some of the vehicles they drive away without repair. I'm in the uk and had my annual MOT on tuesday. My car failed because the bulb that illuminated the registration plate was out. A quick fix in seconds, but until done and retested as a pass I wouldn't have been able to drive it anywhere, tax it, or get insurance as it was counted unroadworthy.

There are three UK MOT fault classes:
Minor fault (aka advisory) - You pass the test but that item should be monitored and repaired if it gets any worse. This is includes things like suspension bushes that are getting a bit worn or tyres near the limit.
Major fault - Lights, brakes out of spec, body rust etc. You fail but you can still legally drive it, tax it etc as long as the previous test has not yet expired. If the previous test has expired you can still legally drive it back home and to a place of repair.
Dangerous fault - Subframe rusted through, no brakes etc. The car is not roadworthy and you can't drive it anywhere.
