- We caught up with Brett Dickie from the Elusive Racing team at the VIC Time Attack recently at Phillip Island. Their wild Honda Integra competes in the Clubsprint class and is powered by a Honda K24 engine boosted by a large Borg Warner turbocharger and runs an Emtron EFI system.

This things on the edge of spinning tyres 95% of the track! That guy knows how to drive 👌💪
Boost by gear, no/slip and adjust.
To be honest that would piss me off.... wasting power and losing time.

Hehe this is one of the cleanest track spec integras I have seen and besides it doesn’t have to be flashy it just has to go fast around the track and of course look good
289kph down the main staights. Is nuts especially on the street tyre. I'm slowly chipping away at my PI time and was happy get 252 on the day

@@hondatrix Oh thank goodness! I hate it when I see a dope properly modified turbo Honda/Acura but it tops out at like 150mph! Never knew they could make it up to 300kmh or 320kmh like that
Top build that is basically the same route I want to go in with my EK coupe k24A2 and Borg Warner twin scroll turbo can't wait.

Yes it's a big turbo on a small engine hey, it seems to work well though.

Why do people flip the engines like that ? Exhaust going on the back side and intake on the front ?
Better intake temps or something else ?

Stefan Supra and much of the new stuff that’s fwd have exhaust put the back it’s no big deal.they didn’t fit this motor just because they wanted the intake at the front it’s just how that motor is mounted up to the gearbox in this car

So why do pple put a k20 head on a k24 bottom?
In my very, very limited knowledge on tbe subject that could be completely wrong: k20 head probably has better cams bigger valves, probably stronger and made to withstand more power because some models of K20 were performance designed while the K24 was originally never designed for that purpose i dont think
Reason is because k24 has better/more torque and k20 head because it handles better with a turbo
Better air flow. K20 heads flow better than K24 heads and they bolt up with little modification. K24 is just a taller K20 essentially.
K20 heads(some) have better flow and smaller chambers. K24A2 head is 95% the same, a bit of work and its ok.
Does anyone know how much it weighs in time attack spec?
Wtac has a min weight each car can't go past. dc2 in clubsprint is 1033 so I'd say it's be down close to that

I understand people throw Ums in there when you aren't use to talking publicly. Let along an interview for CZcams.
What annoys me with people these days and my wife does it and it drives me crazy and I noticed this guy does it too, is adding "obviously" all over the place.
The other one they drives me crazy is adding "I mean" to the start of a sentence when they aren't clarifying something they said previously.
