It takes after it's older brother, the iPad Pro in the best of ways without breaking the bank. And for students, particularly savvy ones who want the iPad Pro feel, pencil experience and more will be very pleased with this device. In this video, I talk about some aspects of the new hardware, but more so show how I use iPad, particularly the new iPad Air 5 in my college student workflow!

This was super helpful for getting an idea of how well this works for the average student. It's been hard to find people who talk about the iPad with just the basics in mind like browsing websites and documents. So it's refreshing to see someone just run through what the average student would use the iPad for! Thanks for the help!

Not only is this a fantastic review (thank you for not just discussing the specs and comparing it to other ipads), you gave us examples of practical uses and demonstrated how it looks/works when utilizing these functions. This practical video was waaaaaaay more useful than other Top CZcamsrs Reviewing the iPad. It puts things into much better perspective and gives a more honest light to the product! Awesome video, excellent work! I will use your video as reference when someone brings up the same questions
THANK YOU for talking about and showing us what the visual/virtual performance gap is now between 60hz with the air now that it has the powerful M1 chip, and the 120hz on the pro. Was really wondering how much the M1 helped virtual lag with 60hz, and now I can see it’s definitely well improved! Shockingly haven’t seen anyone really do that; you helped me decide that yes I do want to purchase. Bravo!! Much love. 🥰

Finally I found a reviewer who actually answer my question other than stating the information that’s already on Apple website…now I feel more comfortable getting this for school.
Finally someone that actually is helpful. All other videos are like "iPad Pro has 120 HZ and iPad Air has 60 HZ so iPad Pro is better" but we don't want to know that, we want to know the features of it and what unique things you can do on the iPads. This video gives a perfect explanation on what an iPad Air can do for you just simply with school work and not the awful comparisons just because Air is limited to 60 HZ.

@@akshayrai7407it’s a problem with my friends iPad Pro M1 and I also encountered that issue with my iPad Air M1 too. I think it’s the notes app problem there’s no solution that I’m aware of but using Good notes it doesn’t heat up so I suggest using another note talking app.

Glad you made the scribling and note taking so easy. Im in 5he middle switching from Android to Apple due to some particular apps requirement, so this video really helps me making my decision

This is so Satisfying to watch
Cheers on making a video that actually shows use cases for the product in question. Typically the content of many videos focuses on the opinion of the person without actually showing how or why they have come to have this opinion. This rather shows both but leaves me (the viewer) to make a judgement for myself.

@@ticktick6511 i went with the pro. I just couldn t pass on that 120hz display. Now that i have owned it for 2 months, i really think the ipar air 5 would have been perfectly fine. Almost the exact same thing.

I just bought this iPad (256gb with Wifi+Cellular), upgrading from an iPad 7th 32gb, and I really didn’t know if the Air 5 was the right choice but I just followed my gut and wow, your review settle my mind on that it was definitely the right choice.
I use my iPad mainly for college: documents, presentations, assignments, etc and I really struggled with storage so that was the main reason of why I upgraded but I also wanted an iPad that lasted through graduate school.
Definitely a new subscriber here!
hey, just wanted to ask you something, whats better 64 gb or 256 gb, im a college student as well and i just want to know. How do you love your ipad so far?
@@itsnika3309 go for 256 gb if you haven't, 64 gb is way too small especially for college students like us where downloading pdfs is common
@@itsnika3309 Hey, sorry for the delayed answer but I recommend the 256gb. In my iPad I only have college apps and documents + CZcams + AppleMusic (no pictures, no social media apps, no iMessage plus I deleted most of the Apple base apps that I don’t use) and I’m already near the 50gbs of usage 🫣
@@itsnika3309 and about the other question, the iPad has been great! Definitely a game changer. Everything uploads fast, no delays, great graphics, and great note taking. The battery lasts me through all my classes; I use it mainly from 7am to 3pm non stop and I get home with a 20-50% battery left (depends on the day). I have taken tests and quizzes with the iPad and the experience has been sooooo smooth, no problems at all. The Wifi+Cellular is a bit of an expense ngl but to me it’s been very worthy because my college WiFi is trash and sometimes my home WiFi is too 🤣

IPad Air 5 and Apple Magic Keyboard is also working well for this Grandmom of 5 with one major drawback. External storage is needed for me even w/ 256 Gigs. I do use iCloud but it isn’t practical for everything. I “retired” my MacBook Air 2011 long ago, now finding I prefer iOS even if I went for a new iPad Pro 12.9 at some point. What external storage is strictly plug and play without having to first format? (Even tho your video is aimed at college students who grew up w/ technology it’s one of the easiest to follow and understand for older generations. Please keep ‘em coming.)

I’m about to try and convince my dad so I can get this because i am currently using the 6th gen iPad, but my classmate let me use his iPad for a group assignment that we were working on for a class and as I was using I felt a difference in the performance and features and I really loved it. I would always get annoyed when the on screen keyboard would get in my way of my reading when I am typing at the same time so that was a plus for me.

Thank you so much, I got the iPad Air 4 last year and I was upset because apple released the air 5 this year, but it shows the air 4 is still a great device totally worth using, you cleared up my doubts about my iPad even though you’re using the newer one :)
