--Story Begins--
Henry Smith called outLily Miller and then, after a brief apology, went into the bathroom. Listening to the water running, I smiled bitterly, my eyes reddening. How ironic.
Six years ago, I fell in love with Henry Smith at first sight despite my comfortable family background. But his heart was already with Lily Miller. No matter how much I pursued him, he remained unmoved.
That is, until Lily chose three million dollars over him without hesitation. And so, I ended up with a disheartened Henry.
I honestly don't blame fl. Whether fl truly love Henry or not, atleast she cared for him and pull him away from Lucy who was clearly using Henry, (if not for fl she might have drain Henry out of every little money or fortune he might have..) she also tried to mend their relationship at the begining of their marrige..but Henry still cling onto Lucy and has conflicting feeling for her, he even provide for her family and run to her everytime he feel down, which is not acceptable for a married man..if he feel inferior he should have voice his thoughts instead of runnning away from them which ultimately led to their divorce, given fl proud, doubtfull and cold nature and Henry's ambiguous relationship with his ex..
It is laughable that there is always a second male lead who is flawlessly perfect and waits for fl like Hatiko for 5+ years 😂😂😂
12:04 Not really seeing how FL was a snob that looked down on ML or SFL. She befriended Lily in high school, and her family supported her through school financially. She liked Henry upon seeing him for first time, and brought her friends with her to see him, introducing Henry to Lily. Lily knew her friend liked him and immediately hooked up with him. Both Lily and Henry are users. If she wasn't kind, she would have left Henry to Lily, knowing how horrible Lily is.
I don't know: there is a tone of superiority throughout the narrative: "My family supported....I gave her money...", " I liked him first how could she ...", " He never ment much to me...", "I was annoyed with him ..." , "I was protecting him he should be grateful..." - you still don't see it? Where are her words of love or admiration, at least about the past? Where are the warm memories with him? It is like she bought a puppy and was annoyed that puppy didn't lick her face...

I feel sympathy for Henry. fl always saw him as a conquest. And he was seen as a gold digger, yet started his own company himself. It feels he was always never good enough, born with a dirt spoon.
You might be right, but the fact that he went to Lily everytime after she came back was the trigger to their divorce.
FL was cold, calculating and a snob. This story was not good as she never really loved henry.
