    This is a great tool to add items like jewellery to portraits convincingly. However, the resolution of the items are not always superfine. I would imagine once this is out of beta, the generative fills might have options to output higher resolution items, or at least match the res. of the base photo.

    • @SharkPixel
      @SharkPixel  Před rokem +1

      I agree. Jesus over at @photoshoptrainingchannel has an excellent video on how to increase the resolution now though! You’ve got to check it out!

    I would love to hear people's thoughts about the use of PS's generative fill I understand how useful such a tool would be in compositing / advertising, etc., but I am wondering about the ethics in other situations. For example, I pulled up a photo of a girl I photographed a while back and added a red hat with a sunflower on it. The resulting shot looks great, but at what point does such image manipulation cross an ethical line? And if I change the background of an image to something totally AI generated, can I still say the photo is one I took? Just wrestling with these questions.

    Very breathtaking at times but still a tad cartoony of a result for my taste -but I do see applications and of course this AI will just keep getting better. I tested it a little today in Beta and yes - how close a line you draw around your subject gives you quite different results. Also PS seems to be a little over cautious on their trigger words - I tried "midevil armor" and was told that was against community standards. Will I use this in editing photoshoots yet - I'm not sure. I do have a Wes Anderson shoot coming up so.....maybe...

    • @SharkPixel

    • @SharkPixel
      @SharkPixel  Před rokem +1

      Great questions. As of now, no images using generative AI can be used for commercial use. Once this technology is out of Beta though, Adobe feels confident that they wont have any copyright issues. That's what they're testing now.
