Just opened mine (July 29th) been sampling Rose frags for 2 months. *I didn’t want to wait till Fall to get this. An inexpensive quality rose to experiment with. My 1st rose frag purchase 🌹. Worth 100mL
Last year I purchased 100mL LATTAFA FOR GLORY
& 2mL INITIO FOR GREATNESS. Loved the Lattafa which is why I had high confidence in this Lattafa blind buy. I’m 30 minutes into my skin test and it smoothed out WONDERFULLY. I like rose 🌹, this may make me ❤️love 🌹rose.

It's not that harsh of a scent, but it has amazing staying power, it lasts a whole day.
It doesn't burn your nose. I can enjoy this alluring purple crystalline scent all the time. By the way, I don't like rose. And yet, I love this scent.
I immediately bought a backup bottle.
Just to be clear for everyone, this is a rich fruity fragrance as much as it is a rose one. Tangy at the base (oud), rich red berry fruity (concentrate) in middle, and rosey floral at the top. The rose is the peak of the fruitiness. The cherry on the top. The airy mist on the mountain. Reminds me a lot of hard fruit candy, with more complexity. It has that leather/gasoline like note common in many middle eastern scents, covering the whole scent like a veil. It doesn't overpower but rather adds a contrasting layer to what would otherwise be quite a simple scent. It adds a little smooth classy texture to it and corners off the sharp edges of the tang. You will smell like something edible. I have only just got it and haven't tested it extensively to see how it comes across in all moods and conditions, so can't say what my final option of it is, but right now as a man I find it too bold and flashy in a feminine pretty kind of way. Time will tell.
How did it mature? Not a fan of the plasticky rubbery gasoline sort of note but I hear it gets much better over time? I’m letting mine sit for a month to start
@@jonah9165 Its still much the same. Gasoline, dry raw leather, saffron, metallic turkish rose, pink fruit candy. Not very manly smelling with the sickly sweet rose but a bit too raw and rugged for most women I would imagine. Over time the gasonline falls back and the leatheryness smoothes out and dies down, the candy-like quality thins out, and the rose smells more natural and airy; more prominent. Smells a lot more feminine to me in the drydown which is where it matters. I sprayed some on my dad to see what it was like to unexpectedly get a whiff (it can suprise you) and it didnt even smell like a fragrance. It just smelled like he had been to the toilet and unknowingly got toilet spray all over himself. Its got that distinctive sharp floral acrid note somewhere and its a total turnoff for me. My dad isnt the most hygenic guy either nor the youngest, so hes probably a bad person to test it on but my mother refused saying it stinks of Indian perfume. She wasnt far off. Fragrance is like clothing though, it can suit a particular person really well. Most women should fair perfectly fine with this but Id be very curious to see what kind of man would be made more attractive wearing this.

That bottle is sooo beautiful! Very royal looking. I only have one rose fragrance in my collection, I'm waiting for fall to see if I'm into rose scents. The rose in fragrance never smells like real roses to me.
I’ve smelled Initio Atomic Rose and absolutely loved it. My partner has used the Amethyst and I love it on him. Worried it’s just not going to give me the same feeling as Atomic Rose on my skin but I’m going to try it anyway.

thank you for this video. So, I took your thoughts and finally purchases amethyst. I also had atomic rose, which finished on me (cannot afford to spend that much money on it again). Side by side, it is 95% clone. Amethyst is BEAST MODE though. 1 spray is enough. To a novice nose, it can be 100% identical. Save your money, buy Amethyst. It smells beautiful, would've picked this before picking atomic rose (clone or not clone).

Hi there! I know atomic rose has been compared to Delina a fair bit and Delina is a scent I love and am familiar with. I believe atomic rose is unisex which is what scares me to blind buy. Would you recommend Badee al oud amethyst for a girly girl?

Thank you for reviewing this, I've been waiting for someone else's thoughts on it. I really wish they would have cloned a different Initio, but only because Psychedlic Love is a bit too feminine for my taste. Can't wait for their next flanker.
Yeah for real, I'd forgotten Atomic Rose even existed. But whichever they clone I do have mixed feelings because on one hand, there's something very hipstery and scammy to me about those kind of prices (literally charging $385 a bottle for one that wasn't that rich, complex, wonderful smelling, complex or had character or anything that would justify half the price to me), but on the other, I do support much more independent oriented businesses than giving money to some guy who's third generation sipping armagnac on a yacht off the Med coast. I just feel like Initio is high on their own farts, considering I've seen leaky bottles criticized, but on the other, their utterly unapolegetic pretension and purple prose mixed with such elegant yet simplified bottle designs is all really appealing to me in general, and plus they have the fragrance to match at times.
I do feel like Initio can be really hit or miss, with Divine Attraction sounding wonderful but not matching the market materials (a young female relative really enjoyed that smellt hough, reminded her of campfires so at least she liked it and it was a hit with her, for me it's solely layering). Which is a shame, when Side Effect is just so damn good, it really truly is, although I think their general marketing vibe really works on and appeals to me I do expect something much more mystical about their fragrance line that what it truly smells like to me that is ultimate netflix and chill vibes of total comfort in front of a woodstove sipping cocoa in winter. Ironically I'd give the "purple prose to Pleiades cluster enlightenment in a mystery cult" thing to something like Bvlgari's Man in Black, whereas Mystic Experience just smells like December 26th at 3am pouring a last glass of amaretto and cookies. I love their prose, they got really great bottles and I'm glad Lattafa mimicked that, but the scent vibe doesn't always match the expected.
tl;dr to me it's really weird they cloned a fairly forgotten about one and not any of the other more popular ones like Rehab, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka etc. If they cloned Side Effect and gave it a spiritual name instead, "Children of the Sahaba" or "Israfil's Trumpet" or something like that, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Heard good about the Musk one too, and Psychedelic Love I heard much about, so it's weird they chose this out of every other scent.

I have Oud For Glory and I really like it, especially after I let it sit for a few weeks. The saffron, nutmeg and lavender are blended very nicely with the oud.
I have my bottle of Amethyst arriving tomorrow and I cannot wait to try it. I am one of those guys who does not shy away from (unisex) rose fragrances. To me, rose is a note that symbolises love and sensuality. Oud and rose are a match made in heaven - the rose gives this beautiful aura that marries well with the earthy and sometimes animalic nature of oud. You'll find that rose based fragrances are worn by men - as well as women - in Middle Eastern countries. The note of rose does not have a gender, and it should not, and therefore anyone can wear fragrances that have it.
Of course, I appreciate that not every guy will want to wear rose fragrances because they feel it may detatch them from their masculinity (LOL), but if you rock that confidence and you see rose as just rose without a gender attached to it, then you win. Sometimes you just gotta come out of your comfort zone.

I've got several Lattafa Asad, Intensive Silver, Oud for Glory, and Fakhar. All are good but Fakhar is an eye opener. Fresh but sexy scent compared to Y EDP . It is extremely nice. Asad is one I have 2 bottles and I just spray away. Spray some Oud for Glory the layer with The One EDP. Wow. I need to try Amethyst. I like Montale Starry Nights so I'm sure I'll like this

I have oud for glory and amythist as a man I was worried it leans to the feminine side more I'm not a rose fan either but I reach for amythist more than ofg it's so addictive the rose is jammy thick sweet and definitely unisex back up bottle needed performance is great and though no compliments yet can't stop wearing it

I have oud for glory. I was very weary about wearing it because of how different it smelled. But I received so many compliments it is crazy! I ordered Lattafa Base’s Al Oud Amethyst because if the rave reviews of oud for glory. I’m intrigued how the rose will blend with the dark aspects of the other notes.
Another bottle I picked up cause of your review and I got to say this one is beautiful and I like it more than EJAAZI. This one is definitely a bottle I'll have to get a backup of thanks again for the review and I'm definitely subscribing to the channel.

Just got mine today, and ohh girl its good, i think its something between Rasasi Shurah pour homme and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf oud.
I love floral but i am with sweet scents too i have tried badi ul oud lattafa is really nice longevity is really great smells like burnt sugar veeu nice but good for winter
the smells haunts me even after days i smelled it from the perfume shops. immediately got back to purchase this. best decision ever. it is a good perfume to wear even when you are not going out. the oud and the roses works wonders, and the compliments from the jasmine, vanilla bergamot and pink pepper are top notch. i have no problem with the syntheticness. i wish the projections are better as they smells so good. longevity is satisfactory.

Everytime someone asks me if I have on a perfume or cologne I automatically assume I smell masculine. But I guess it's a valid question since I have been known to wear cologne with my red lips and stilettos. 🤣 I'm purchasing this for sure!

Was ready to buy Baddee al Oud but suddenly it disappeared from Amazon. Like its not shipping anymore so i will get. Other Lattafa perfumes. One of them will be Lattafa Leather which i found many people has mixed opinions. . I like the purple colour👌 combination in your video!

I have oud for glory and I like how it's a soft oud. However, I don't find it projects or lasts that long. These bottles are pretty cool tho
Give it to someone else to wear and see then, but it's skin chemistry as well.
I thought it's weak (Oud for Glory) till my dad bought it, i can smell it on him even after 7 hours (at work). He oversprays tho, but it's cheap so yeah!

On my chemistry this is very jammy. It smells like grape jelly and roses lol. It's a "femme leaning" mixer for my cologne collection.
This reminds me of Frank Oliver food vanilla the Frank Oliver is a bit stronger and longer lasting but the notes are extremely similar.

CDNI Woman is more mature in my opinion. This is more synthetic sweet than that one, but it's pretty likeable. My brother in law actually took my bottle of Amethyst because he really loved it
