I always find that I don’t like the Bade’e Al Ouds when I first get them but I spray them and then leave them for a few weeks and then when I smell them again, they are gorgeous
You need to let the perfume marinate for awhile

@osman2169 This idea is a bit overrated, it's not like the fragrance will evolve like a pokemon. It does feel like something has ever so slightly changed but to most people it's unnoticeable. And yes, you can still try on the fragrance as the thing that is doing the "maceration" is the oxygen that gets in the fragrance when you spray it.
This is a beast mode one. bought this and got lot of complements. highly guaranteed about the scent profile, projection and specially silage.

Amethyst has one of my favorite dry downs in my entire 60+ bottle collection. Freakin' gorgeous! Last forever on clothes too! Easily worth 4 to 5 times the price that it currently goes for. Also its dufferent than Atomic Rose which makes it unique imo. Great review as always.

I just got this. I think "thick and jammy" are very accurate. It might be an acquired taste for me but I do think it has potential and it has some nice qualities. The presentation is top tier though ngl.

Middle eastern men wear rose all the time and they smell fabulous!!!
I am Asian and I wear rose only for special ceremonies like weddings, festivals, memorials, religious events.
it's not bad at all has like a candy rose scent.. don't know to me it reminds me of those sweet tart candies... but it does have some oud for glory in it as well... for some reason, neither last on my skin but last for 2 or 3 days on clothes... I'd say mix this and glory ..
and for those asking or wondering.. THIS IS NOTHING LIKE TOY BOY I prefer to boy compared to this
I was pretty hesitant purchasing this fragrance but I pulled the trigger after watching this video. Well, I just received the bottle and boy was I really surprised how great it smells! Seriously though..how are these clone houses pumping out some of the most fantastic fragrances and for such prices?! I'm blown away!

I like this one the opening is similar to oud for glory or supremecy in oud but dries down to something different. Great bang for your buck
I think the rubbery coating is why the fragrance has that nasty burnt rubber smell, especially considering how these fragrances are shipped and depending on how long they are in high heated places which boost the rubbery smell.

Yes, if you smell the fragrance off the nozzle, you will get a platic rubber smell. But ofcourse try on a test strip, clothes, or yourself. Trust me is so good.

I watch your vids and Cuba's vids, and I am def getting this bottle from House of Lattafa. I got Oud Glory for just $23 earlier and were shocked how good the Arab Houses are getting with perfumes. Excellent for men who want to stand out on a date with the girlfriend or wife.

@@imzanebetch153 I am shocked how long it lasts, easily for me 5 hours and then hints of hit for another 2-3. Sillage is potent at first, but once mingles with skin and body heat it mellows out. No one around me, both male and female, said I ever smelled bad, instead they say oh wow, that's good, they smell me from about 4 feet and when I walk past, it definitely leaves a nice almost Church incense scent, but not overpowering. I am def keeping this on my rotation, especially when I find it on sale for $23-25.
I have Oud for Glory, and Amethyst- I also get that odd scent of bandaid thing, but it doesn't last long. Neither does the rose for me, though. After an hour I find it to be nearly identical to Oud for Glory- both of them live in that 'BR540' space- airy, woody, slightly sweet during the dry down.
If I was purchasing them both again, knowing what I know I would have only bought one, as they are highly redundant to my nose. Your mileage may vary though.
Interesting, I get that rose note for the whole ride, but I have heard others say they don't as well.
@@PostCologne Yeah - we all have different olfactory receptors, and some scents translate better for some people. Read some of the science behind it, it's pretty cool.

@@galangsyamilbasayev Glory would be my choice. They smell very similar in the dry down (to me) and glory has much better longevity for me.
I like amethyst, it's just redundant at this point.

I know what you mean about stepping out of your comfort zones. That's how I feel when I purchased oud for glory, and qaa'ed. I definitely get that rubbery note in oud for glory for sure lol.
Yeah oud for glory has that similar rubbery vibe for sure. And stepping out of your comfort can be great in discovering new things, or at least reinforcing what you don't like :)

@@PostCologne I haven't received qaa'ed yet, it should be in a few days though. The anticipation has been driving me crazy for monthsss now. The packaging alone has sold me. I seriously can't wait. It has some notes I'm not a fan of, but I won't know untill I honestly try it for myself. It really all depends on how it's used. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to fragrances though, so it will be very supprising if I didn't honestly enjoy it. I'll definitely have to keep you updated:) I just know that I'm so over these run of the mill ,overly fruity, sickly sweet, simplistic,artificial, juvenile scents. Lattafa, and swiss Arabian has been my best discovery of this year for sure lol.
The anticipation is half the fun :)
Agree with the change of pace Lattafa and others have brought to my collection. Only so many invictus style fragrances you can try before its boring AF. These middle eastern houses keep me on my toes :)

To note,I literally can't find much on it,or about it all together on line. (Including frag-ran-tica) I've only seen some reviews on the original version of this fragrance. (which apparently, is just a synthetic, fruity mess) based on what other's have said. I've searched loads of site's to find something on it,but there's almost nothing. And here on the tube, there's only a short review of it,but it's in a different language entirely.
To my knowledge, It's only sold on a few places. Including, (Lat-affa, intense0ud,and Amaz0n. On Amaz0n, it's well Under 30 bucks,that was with shipping and tax,it was exactly twenty six point fifty one, for me) as far as amounts on other places, I know it's showing to be be 35 buck-a-oos,and above.
I'm definitely going into this fragrance mostly blind myself. I just purchased it yesterday because I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try something that no one else seems to be talking about lol. What I could find on it,I loved the description of notes it gave,but even that wasn't very specific. Lmfao. But anyways, this outta be fun! Now is just a waiting game to get it.

I add a couple of sprays of this to my tom ford nior in a travel atomizer and iso e super plus ambroxan beautiful!
Did the iso e super work well with Amethyst? I layer my other perfumes with it but I'm nervous to do so with this one.

Lol, nothing fancy, pretty average paying desk job. I don't buy fragrances ALL the time, just what's it the budget each month.... okay maybe I do, but still :)

Going to roll the dice and wear it to work tomorrow 2 sprays want play it safe.
Lataffa has goof presentation but they need to upgrade their juice they're going around cloning everything but imo if they upgrade the quality of their juice people would pay 100 for this over 350 for a bottle of inito you're also getting more than you do with inito as all of their bottles are 90ml. I own 4 bottles of inito my self but I'm not rich enough to wear something like that every day so my collection is cheap dailies to moderately expensive mid tier and then top shelf 300+ per bottle.

I agree with the rubber vibe off of this. Its def overwhelming. Not a make or break as I think its ok still. But will I really reach for this to wear>? maybe not. kind of headache inducing for my taste. anyways cheers

Lattafa - Amethyst or Ministry of oud - Satin mood (mfk oud satin mood clone)
I don't own Ministry of oud satin mood, so can't say myself. I'll let others weigh in
Depends on what you are looking for?! Both are Jammy Rose fragrances. If you are looking for sheer performance, MOO Satin Mood is definitely beast mode fragrance and very Sweet Powdery (quite prominent Violet note) Rose, with less Vanilla. BAO Amethyst is Sweet and a fresh Rose mixed with a creamy vanilla. Performance for Amethyst is average and better for intimate settings
I just bought this and I can't stand it. I'll give it a couple weeks before I try again. I doubt it will change

Replacing my Sauvage Dior. The scent is different now. Waaay overpowering & synthetic. Ordered a bottle of this just a few moments ago.

Is the projection similar to oud for glory?
If memory serves me I think they perform fairly similar. I haven't worn oud for glory in a little while so I'd have to refresh my memory.

Oud took some time for me. Rose is taking longer, and I'm still not 100% there for both. Really needs to be the right balance and type of both. I totally get why you steer clear Russell.

It's a very good one for the price, definitely. As someone already said, the Initio Atomic Rose is way ahead, smoother, without that harsher "saffrony" vibe you described (sorry, lol) but yeah it's like 10 times the price! Of course I'm an advocate of Amouage's Lyric Man (also jammy and slightly musky) but you know I'm an Amouage fan so I'm biased. 😅
Of for sure the quality is much better for those ones. But like you said, for the price point it's very good.

@@PostCologne if you want a good clone of atomic rose check out Infini Rose by maison alhambra (yes a branch of lattafa). i believe amethyst is more of just an oud for greatness + rose.
I've been seeing more maison alhambra pop up at discounters I use. Grabbed Galatea and hercules last month, looking to explore more for sure

Not sure if I can do the rose thing right now. I only recently have been ok with well-balanced unisex fragrances. It is too much like those little soaps that you were not allowed to use in the bathroom. Good review though✔
