The Italian Job coach was scrapped in Scotland in the early 1990s 😣
Another gem of a location with loads of interesting finds.I loved the old coaches. I have travelled in a few like these. The Bedford Val twin steer coaches are similar to the one used in the original Italian Job film. The one in that film was converted to a car transporter. These old Panorama coaches have character that isn’t found in modern ones. Some of these old coaches could be turned into glamping vehicles, or restored and put back on the road. It’s terrible that they are being left to decay like that. There are some potential restorations sitting there. What a waste! So many rare and interesting vehicles are sitting there. Many of them are as reare as hen’s teeth.The red Hillman Imp type car, looks like a Singer Chamois ,or a Sunbeam Stilleto.Thanks for another cracking explore.

the old army trucks are old Bedford's from the mid 40s to 50s. they were used in the war for carrying soldiers and cargo.

Yellow trailers are scrapers for levelling land were used building motorways mostly, they lower the front end and scoop up earth!
I love old coaches from 1960s to 80s like bedford val's/leyland leopards plus all the plaxton/duple bodied busses!!! I love your videos and who ever owns them is sat on a little gold-mine at that location 😎🤩🤬😍

Most of the times the cost and time to restore gets above peoples abilities and pocket size so they’re left to rot, damm shame with the majority of it being uber cool and we’ve all fond memories of atleast one or two of them, keep up the good work brother 👌🏽

Great seeing the Plaxton plaques on the steps of coaches. They’re a huge coach builder that have been going for years. Shame the same can’t be said of Bedford

Great vid as usual.. loved the red 92 K reg Rover 400 R8 (Honda concerto) I owned a Honda engined 416si for 7 1/2 years and it was bombproof reliable. 147,500 miles on it when I sold it and went into 164,000 plus.. Great car. 👍

That 2 mk1 transits are worth a bomb as junkers! Same with all them Peugeot 205 gti's they're all savable i bet the cortina estate is rare! Obviously the owner don't need the money and can let stuff just rot away for there own pleasure!!! 😎

I used to have one of those transit vans between 1980-82 only problem was the engine just wasn't powerful enough think they were a V4,did the job but struggled when you had weight in.
Amazes me how you keep finding these places fantastic really.

The red collapsing Hillman imp comes back with nothing. The White Hillman Imp estate was known as the Hillman Husky .
That beast of a truck was an ex army Bedford. The M reg 205 is recent as the mot ran out in 2018.
It's a crying shame saying Early MK1 Transits rotting away like that. The flat bed one was a Diesel which is very rare.Those coaches were cool quite a few of those were Bedfords.Another great video this week .
Used to put the auto bonnets on the gti's had a powerbulge style bonnet n great content as usual 👌

This is an astonishing vehicle collection. Whoever put it all together had a good taste in vehicles; classic Bedford army trucks, Pug 205s, Bedford VAL coaches…. The partly built house looks like it would be wonderful finished. I feel sad for the guy who had those dreams, and worked to acquire his treasures, and now appears to have had had to let it go to rot. Maybe he got sick, couldn’t finish his earthly dreams of fabulous house and classic vehicle fleet.
I agree buddy he lives out back in a glorified shed which blew my mind because even with the house in its current state could still fetch a strong price, But again he may not want to let go of his dream. Thanks for watching buddy

Great effort in bringing us these videos stu, we truely appreciate then alittle sad and heart breaking for some cars we all love an rekonise as an icon like them 205 gti's the daddy 1.9 shud be saved but that blue one why was it so clean even the windows seemed to clean as tho someone is cleaning it or its had some detailing done time ago but no moss cud see your refection so clear but its one of them we will never know.but another top video matey,

Great video mate, ashame for these Peugeot’s sat there there’s atleast 2 good projects there, same with all them Suzuki’s so many of them been stolen atm, it does make you wonder how many of these cars are actually stolen, you always find a lot of truck bodies but no vans obviously stolen for parts, crazy finds, can’t wait for next one. 👌

Great video and really in-depth too. One of those 205's has been sat there since 2008 by the look of it and the one in the drive was last on the road in 2018. You're right about wanting to save them as they're just going to end up like everything else sat there, which is a shame.

Really enjoyed video stu, that low mile blue 205 needs, saving, those army trucks great to see, looks like the reddish one was second world war. I recon a lot of those cars, and trucks have sat there a good 20 years red 205 has trees grow up around it.
The dark grey 205 is also a GTI-you can see the plastic wheel arch trim on the passenger side wing as you approach it, the rear wheel arch trim for the drivers side is lying inside with the trim fasteners visible around the rear wheel arch. The red stripes (albeit very faded) along the tops of the interior door panels are visible also, which would point to this being a GTI. I had an early 205 XS, then a black 1.6 GTI and finally managed to move up to a 1.9 GTI... wish I had kept them all 😐
I ad a black 1.4 Xs, the same motor I had in my AXGT if I remember right. Then had a 106 rallye and the 106 gti. Missed the 205 gti 😢. My best bud had one so drove it a few times and loved it😍😍😍
pretty sure it's not, XS interior and it looks like the radiator is the shorter model, adding GTI exterior trim was a pretty common mod
@le couscous Yes that is a possibility, GTI door trims and XS seats sitting inside doesn’t provide absolute proof that it’s a GTI, however this car has remnants of the double-sided adhesive on the sides which was on the back of the trim pieces to help secure them to the car, but more importantly this car also has the factory fitted trim clips around the front and rear wheel arches-these were fitted into holes made at the factory during production of the GTI bodyshell/wings.
@@SuperTigertank I thought the grey one was a base model as the arches on the rear don't look angled like the GTI ones also the sunroof lining looks a wee bit small for a GTI but could be dealer fitted. That being said, it doesn't look to have pop out windows and the black vertical strip on the doors which is the usual GTI giveaway if the arches are not visible. I reckon it is an XS though.

Madi gras 205, rare as hens teeth unless your there as thiers 5 of them! 2nd one looked clean, 14K on the clock, could be 114 but I haven't checked. Not many with the plates on so hard to check info on them if possible.
Yellow things at the end look like what they used many years ago when they built the motorways.

Fascinating gudeo. Car at 9.50 looks like a Hillman Hunter or derivative. Green truck is a Bedford, probably ex military, dating from the 50s/60s. The transits look like very early versions, rare as heck. The old truck at 14.55 is 40s or 50s I think, will post on FB to get an ID. Just after that, the grey van body is ex British Telecom, they make a great shed ! LOL ! Spot on, Red wreaked car at 16.55 is an Imp, the one at 17 46 is an even rarer imp estate, remarkably rare ! The military lorry cab is another of those 50s/60s Bedfords.
Damn shame about the 205gtis/ lookalike.. The blue Mardi Graz at 21.30 looks like it might be a Belfast car, couldn't see the # plate clearly. The red one bear it looked like a XS, quick wee car for their day. That red one has the same interior as mine, biggest problem was electrics, a gobshite mechanic who goofed up the engine and vandals. Would love to get my hands on one again, fun car.
Okay, the truck at 14.55 has been identified as a Bedford QL, produced during WW2 for the British military. Shame its lying out in a field 😞
A little tip pal, when you are next out, check out some of the regs on the cars, it may give you some idea when they were last on the road. the 205, that was next to the house, was last MOTd in 2017, and is on Sorn now.

16.40 i think was a red/orange hillman\singer super imp, and the white one hillman/singer husky. Very very very rare.

The red 205 next to the trees G134HTH is a diesel powered one. They must have really liked the 205 going off the amount there.
Some of them coaches at the last place she was at work and in bad condition stuff and new location is good as well I mean for transit and transit real places with good as well
Having trouble watching this with a raging hard on looking at all those 205s. They all need saving
