A report about peaceful protests against Israeli government actions, in which not a single protester was interviewed but a Jewish student who grew up in Israel was. The one-sided nature of the coverage is appalling.
Protesters are declining interviews, with dedicated media contacts within the groups. They aren’t all students either with Islamic groups going on campuses trespassing, accounting for many of the arrests and wide scale disruptions. Check your own biases.

This segment on authorities cracking down on peaceful pro-Palestinian protesters manages to not include any comment from a single protester. Then multiple times it 'both sides' the situation, most notably with the FIRE dude claiming the armed police using coercive force and the protesters using mean words have both crossed the line. Finally, the segment concludes with an interview of an Israeli student's POV while still not including any perspective from the people being arreseted and forcefully removed. To add insult to injury, the Austin reporter stated that he saw people come together and allow both sides to have their say. Too bad CBS did not do the same. The extreme bias CBS continues to show on this conflict is on full display here.

People are very different than in protests in the 60's. Doesnt mean anything but i noticed how many students are chubby now days compared to young people in the 60's. The screeching high pitched female voices i dont recall at all in the 60's though probably 40% of protesters were women.
This kind of disturbs me because of its divorce from reality i feel: many protesters say they: "dont feel safe!"....no one protesting (or rioting) in the 60's would even think like that. I mean people were afraid to be hurt (and police dealt with demonstrators MUCH more firmly) but if you were protesting illigally or occupying property you accepted that it was a possibility you might get clunked with a riot stick or tear gas...thats what you risked at least in those days.
