You can have even like ten sentences, one life.
I was taught Life sentences are just long amounts of time in prison.
You can have life sentences but you aren't in prison for life a normal life sentence I think is 25 years so she can have years added onto her life sentence

Well technically it’s different in every state most of the times but you don’t necessarily have to die in prison if you get a life sentence you could get tried again after a certain amount of years I believe it’s called parole? I don’t know if you fail getting tried again you get no other chance and most likely will die in prison.

A life sentence depending on where you are\live a life sentence doesn’t always mean you’re in for the rest of your life! It can range from the life expectancy for the area\country to the rest of your natural life until paroled or otherwise pardoned.
