Beautiful blade. But too thick. I have an original 1943, with full tang and rosewood grips. It was designed for fighting and utility. This is more of a shinny hatchet.
This company does make their blades on the big side , but some of the originals were actually larger. Not sure they were M43s bu they were military issue and used in battle.
