  • Today, we are going to show you the necessary steps to put a muzzle brake on a Traditions NitroFire!
We use the Traditions NitroFire in a lot of our testing videos, but this muzzleloader can leave us with sore shoulders after a long range day. To fix this, we decided to get our NitroFire threaded to accept our Muzzle-Loaders.com Muzzle Brake! A big thank you to MJ at Iron Ordnance for making this video possible. We couldn't have done this without his help.

It's amazing how much a muzzle break tames down a rifle.

I want to get my traditions rifle threaded as well. Who did your barrel and how much did it cost?

Can this be done to a wolf v2 safely? I just want a muzzle break to reduce the smoke cloud Infront of me so I can see when deer are hit.

What does this do to your groupings?

How would the brake work with loose powder? Would you lose some out the ports? Need to use a funnel?

@hammerhead7900 you would want to use a funnel for loose powder if you had the brake on a different rifle.

I think it may only work for the nitro fire style rather than traditional loose powder down the tube.

I put a muzzle brake on my traditions nitro fire before I ever I group the Thor bullets at 3/4 in at 100 yards with 100 grains of powder

Nitro Fire is the biggest most expensive gimmick bullshit to ever hit the firearms world. Unbelievable people fell for it. Useless paper weight when they stop making the cartridges. Currently I hear they are incredibly hard to find nowadays.

I put a brake on my nitro fire and it shot 3/4 inch groups at 100 yds with the Thor and 100 grains of powder
