INTRO
In the depths of space, a hole in space time had been created. It was so deep that those who were unfortunate enough to fall into it would be left with no way out and could only travel endlessly forward towards an unknown destination. One man, known as The Chillout Warrior, was about to take his last step off the edge of the craft when he heard a noise - something like metal fan blades whirring at high speed. He looked down and saw a huge metal contraption on the floor which resembled some sorta giant metal fan. He decided he had to take it with him, for his own spiritual health he had to. So he took the fan and left, back to Earth without a sound.
TECHNICAL
This metal fan noise is the perfect sound to get to sleep faster, the audio has been equalized and spread in the stereo field to create an 360 experience that covers the frequency spectrum. The metal fan noise have been carefully eq'd to sit next to each other in the mix and fatten up the audio making it an excellent sleep sound. Real talk
When I was about 10 years old my brother and I used to go stay with my father during the summer while my mom worked (they had separated). We would arrive very early in the morning and go back to bed when we got there. The room that we would stay in had this big king bed and, the best part, a loud box fan. Man I loved that fan. It was the perfect sound for sleeping. I always felt so content and safe in those moments laying there drifting off to sleep to the sound of that fan. It was such comfort. I've searched CZcams far and wide looking for a fan sound that matched the sound of that fan and I never could find one -- until now. This is it. I knew it the instant that I popped in my earbuds and heard it. I was immediately transported back to that big king sized bed, my brother fast asleep nearby. No worries, no anxieties, no endless racing thoughts. It feels like home. I can only offer you my most sincere gratitude for uploading this one. You've given me more than you may realize. Thank you 🙏

Can't believe somebody else NEEDS THIS... I alwaysss EVEN IN WINTER sleep with a fan on my nightstand in my face just so I can hear the fan and not the LOUD creepyyyy sound of SILENCE....so quiet ears start ringing So for me it's the sound..thnxxxx.

Ohh this tugs @ my heartstrings cuz my Gran lived in a holler in WV also without a/c. When we'd visit my brother and I would have to share a bed and this big ol' metal fan would lull us to sleep. What I wouldn't do for one more of those hot summer nights😔. I hope you sleep well friend.

I just had the same thought, it's a very nostalgic sound indeed.
I too remember falling to sleep, at my grandma's house, to a big ol' window fan. I remember one of my parents thinking the loud sound was annoying.
Sometime later, but still a very young child, my mom didn't like that she found me (asleep) in front of the box fan in our house's hallway. She thought I would get sick with all that air blowing on me.
So the next night I was beside the fan. Lol
When I got my own place, and to this day, have a fan running - or (nowadays) play these white noise recordings.
This one and the sound of propeller plane or bomber plane are my most favorite.

Reading the comments and suddenly realise that EVERYONE virtually has the same childhood experiences. No matter where you are/where you live, everyone kinda does the same thing like watching the moon chases their car, feeling the car eating the road markers, sleeping in the car and feeling the last turn into the house, or having their parents carry them to their rooms. We're kinda all the same ... but not really.

It's amazing to see SO many people saying this brings back memories of their childhood! It's nice to see! I didn't realize that so many slept with window fans! We did have a window fan but then we bought an air conditioner, which had an equally soothing sound to it! It was bliss to our ears! You should make a video of a window air conditioner next! 😆😀
How about the back porch screen door with just a spring (no cylinder) to pull it shut. I'll never forget the sound it made, it seemed to be a part of summer in my youth. 🏄♀️

This is by far the best one. The humming, the harping, and almost electrical. If you listen very closely, you can hear people softly singing.......I saved this to my favorites

Last year, I got ridiculously sick. Like so weak I could barely stand to take a shower. For whenever reason, this exact frequency helped me fall asleep and STAY asleep among some of the noisiest roommates alive. I slept for almost a full week with this (and a few other fan videos) playing on repeat. Something about it is so comforting

Out of all the different fan sounds available this one is my favorite. I get rem's like none other! It blocks out loud snoring and even a Harley being fired up every morning at 5. I am very grateful 🥰

Its funny that we judge fan noise, or white noise. But your absolutely correct. Some are way better than others. This one is in the top 5 for me. Gotta advertise more cos whats his fuck seems to have cornered the market on white noise. And yours is better than 95% of his. Hes got some good ones but this one is damn near perfect. As a sleepy pot smoking teenager some 30 years ago I used to sneak into a drying room in a factory I worked at with large industrial fans to sleep. It was so peaceful and comfortable that I've listened to fan noise ever since ❤

I do live in home care. (2) 40 hour shifts a week with 2 different companies. I sleep there and I can't sleep without a fan.. for awhile I used rain and thunder videos but I didn't sleep well. I have a big metal fan in my room at home. This sounds just like it and I sleep really good at work. I put this video on my tablet,turn it up, and sleep hard. Thank you so much for making this video. Im from the UK and grew up in Malaysia, which we moved from to go elsewhere. I pleaded with my mum for years to go back to Malaysia no matter what place we were in. One day she finally gave, She told me she missed it so much too and was happy i never stopped begging. It gave her the motivation to work hard for a nice life that we both missed.
The first night I moved back, the fan was on, the room was at the perfect temperature and I finally felt like I was home. Now everytime I hear a fan I remember that feeling I got and its the most comforting feeling, I swear the room feels like its the perfect temperature again. Its crazy what the noise of a fan can do.

As a kid, we had an oscillating fan with deep blue translucent blades, a white plastic motor housing and base. It had 3 piano-key style buttons on the base, a white one for off, a baby blue for speed 1, medium blue for speed 2 and the same deep blue as the fan blades for speed 3. Spent many a hot summer night with all the lights off and just the sound of the fan lulling you to sleep...
Our whole household has to have fans on me and the wife and 2 daughters. Cannot sleep without one on. Going to try this tonight 😊

I love this audio recording it's the same sound as the box fan I used to fall asleep as kid. I'd lay my sleeping bag on the floor right in front of the fan wrap in my johnny quest comforter with my pillow strategically push agaist the fan so I could get both the sound of the fan and the vibration of it. I would make believe I was an astronaut on a long space journey. It wouldn't take long before I was drifted off into dreamland. Thanks for the upload...

What I loved about growing up in our trailer good memories
So I have a metal fan like the one in this video, and 2 days ago, it was pretty warm in my room even with the window open. My husband puts the fan on high so we can sleep comfortably. We normally keep it on low. So as we lay with our eyes closed 2 minutes later, the fan shuts off.... 😳😳 we both shot up like, "Oh no (me) WTF (him) 😂😂😂 I say, "Did the motor die?" We left it off for a few minutes. We lay back down, but our room is hot. We can not sleep. Then the fan goes on. I'm like, babe. I thought you turned it off. He says I thought I did, too. Hmm, oh well, it just needed to cool off, I guess. I said we'll keep it on low from now on. Yea, I can't sleep without that fan noise. My thoughts are too loud, and the room is too quiet. 😆😆

I sent my laundry out not realizing that it included all my blankets. Yes, I'm one of those that can't sleep unless the air conditioner is on, a fan blowing on my face and wrapped up in a blanket. Well, without the blanket I just couldn't sleep because it was too cold. I couldn't turn the AC up or off because Texas and I'm not the only one in the house. The thin throw I had just wasn't enough so the only option was to turn off the fan. EGADS! I must've gone through fifty fan sound videos before I found this one. Perfection! Thank you!
