I really think hybrid is the way to go. seems like BYD is weighing their options , either build a plant in MX or in the U.S. as I have yet to find any press release that says the name of the city in Mexico. one little sentence from a news channel , mentioned Monterrey but to my knowledge has not been confirmed .

It's not built for the American market..they have already stated they have no plans to sell it there. Furthermore the US don't have the infrastructure for EVs...Muricans can stick with their ICE pickups and they are better off with ICE cos they don't have any plans to install EV infrastructures..
