  • Over the weekend my dad and I raised a few of my sprinkler heads throughout the yard. As we started on the last one for the day, I made a mistake.

    Thanks for the tips. I had to turn up the volume to hear you talking, then the music came on, real loud, and now my tinnitus is cured, so thanks!

    I really needed this video. Thanks. But loose the music. I had to constantly readjust the volume throughout the video. (Anyway, what do you have to do to annoy a woman into making noises like that at full volume? lol)

    Haha I like the music!! I was just trying to figure out how to do this...and then there you were, doing just what I needed to do. Love your channel!!

    Dude. Dont try to dominate your neighbor. Slowly educate them and bring them up to speed. Everyone wins if the neighborhood shines.

    Are all sprinkler heads screwed on? Or are they ever glued on? Thanks!

    • @michellemiles477
      @michellemiles477 Před 3 měsíci

      Never glue!! There are times you may need to either unclog the filter or replace a sprinkler head!

    I have an old copper irrigation system. what's the best and easiest way to rise the heads to the current grass level? The current heads don't even seem to be solder on the pipe.

      @@AD-vf3ek Is PVC sch. 40 or 80 need for systems in Michigan. Connecting it to copper lines that are already ran.

    You could go thru all this aggravation and risk of cutting your feed lines .... or you could just use Kap-it. Done in 3 minutes. No risk of cutting pipes, blocking heads. No need to uproot grass around sprinkler.
    You're welcome!

    Learned a few things, and thanks. How did you connect the new pipe to the old pipe that the shovel cut? Also, are you aware someone hacked into your video and added unpleasant, loud music (music?) that didn't seem to have any relevance to your video?

    • @AD-vf3ek
      @AD-vf3ek Před rokem

      Get a funny pipe cuppler and connect them together. No clamp needed.

    Something seems off. Mowed racing stripes and have a fantastic lawn. Wanted to show viewers how to replace sprinkler heads.... but your recap was how you learned steps 1 thru done. Plus you cut the line. Man that's your pops house and your living in it taking credit for his work. "Glad that's finished" describes an assigned chore. I'm in my garage dripping sweat right now cause shat ain't ever done. It's only on to the next mow, pool clean, honey do, fix this, build that, pimp it tight, and make more $ cause it costs. If I'm wrong, so be it. No dad and no I learned. I suggest Just you in video and that's how its done to end video.

    Make sure you remove that dirty water that was in your riser before screwing in your head. Otherwise it can clog your sprinkler when you turn it back on.
