  • The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Bala Audu, has expressed concern over the decreasing rate of doctors available to tend to patients in Nigeria.
He pointed out the ratio of doctor-patient in the country is spiraling downward and it is 1,000 percent less than what the World Health Organisation recommended.
He further highlighted poor working conditions as one of the causes of this japa syndrome wave fast luring medical practitioners abroad

The quality of care will always be lacking, it's a worldwide crisis, doctors shortage. In the UK it's the same sad stories, it's so terrible that it boiled down to patience to be froce out of the hospital before they're feeling better, it's all about bed count, not above the health of a patience. Doctors all over are over work, and it took a tole, on thier lives, family lives, and they're aren't able to profom effectively in the fields. A lot of people died, because they're not given the proper care, or the correct diagnosis.
