Hi! I'm wondering if this project is in one size or if it's several sizes in the pattern?
I now it's 4 years ago, this pattern was realised. But I hope I still can bye it. But I'm need to know if how it is in the sizes, so it fits me. I'm have 4xl on the upper body clothes. Regards from sweden
This is a very long stole with a backing and is very forgiving for all sizes. I think you should be fine. There is a link in the video description for the pattern. It is only available from Annie’s (Crochet World Magazine).😊
Can you use Caron simply soft for this project and if I purchase the vintage DK do yarn shops offer winding them into cakes? I don’t own a Swift I only buy skeins, balls or cakes. You are so gifted and I thank you for sharing it. Love your tutorials ❤️❤️❤️🧶🧶🧶
Thank you Betsy! I would recommend sticking with a DK weight yarn for this project. I think the Caron Simply Soft will be too thick. Most stores will wind the yarn if you ask them as a service to their paying customers. I hope this is helpful!
Bonnie can you used a different yarn on this project? I CAN'T GET THIS YARN UNLESS I ORDER ONLINE . WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR YARN.?
Bonnie, this is gorgeous! I have a sufficient amount of Omega Sinfonia mercerized cotton...the label says it's 'sport weight'... will this work well for this pattern?
That is lovely yarn Sandra, but being cotton, it is going to have more weight to it than the wool/acrylic blend listed in the pattern. This stole portion is particularly long and the extra weight may stretch out a bit. Just a suggestion!
I watched your how to videos and really like the design but in Ireland the yarn is sold by weight not length. How much does each hank weigh please, I am assuming that DK in the US is the same weight as DK in Ireland or the UK. Many thanks, I have a lovely yarn in mind but absolutely no idea how much to buy and because it is a Shetland wool I can't get more if I don't have enough, equally I can't afford to buy more than I need because it's expensive.

Can I used red heart soft yarn for this project I have 6 skeins already
gohar anjum That’s an excellent question! You can use any yarn you choose, but this design calls for a DK weight (#3) yarn, which is significantly thinner than Red Heart Soft yarn. I recommend using a DK weight yarn if you want the results to be like the example in the photo.
What type and brand of yarn would you recommend if you are allergic to wool. To achieve this same effect?

Honestly, this shawl is suitable for a wide range of sizes, and the stole portion is already quite long. I am not able to work specific redesigns. Thanks for your understanding!
