My top 3 Underrated brands are
Mally Beauty Cosmetics- they have the best eyeshadow sticks, and their poreless face defender is a must have!
Colormax Cosmetics- they make my favorite mascara, it’s waterproof And smudge proof but comes off super easily with a foaming face wash. Their Diva Glamour lipsticks are my favorite lipstick formula, it’s soft and creamy but ‘sets’ on the lips and are pretty transfer resistant but don’t dry out your lips like liquid lipsticks.
Catrice Cosmetics- their lipgloss is Amazing!

The Balm cream eyeshadow sticks are really nice! Very pigmented and long-wearing!

I need to try ordinary brand; but was very excited that you mentioned Pérsona cosmetics. Currently own the two small eyeshadow pallets and the identity 1 and 2, all the lipgloss and one Zuma highlighter. It’s such a lovely brand that brings out quality products.

The Balm is the bomb! Like you, I left their eyeshadow formula when I was a beginner, but eventually grew out of it. I still love their cheek and lip products though!

I found your channel through Samantha March. I love Sigma products and of course their brushes. I have not tried anything from The Balm. A new brand I’m trying this year is Sydney Grace. Where I live now (Taiwan), you can easily buy The Balm products at the drugstore! Their selection of imported makeup is actually really interesting to me
The ordinary is my number one recommendation for skin care for anyone. I have a super detailed routine and I use a lot of their products. LOVE!
I love that you did a collab. I subscribe to both your channels. I had placed an order at ulta for the ordinary for the aha 30% & bha 2% peeling solution. I enjoy the other serums from that line. I trust your recommendation on the product. I've tried the ordinary glycolic acid and I do love that too. I haven't tried anything from the balm. I may have to check them out next time I am at kohls.

Love just about everything from The Ordinary but that BHA peel is the bomb! Their oils are great too for my dry skin. I really like the look of the Persona palette. I haven’t gotten a new palette since October and I’ve been looking for something to fit in with what I have without feeling like it’s all the same. This might just fit the bill. Thanks!

I always look at kokie products lol but havent tried any of them. I am very interested in trying the sigma eye shadow stick... it seems really convienent. I loved the nyx?? Chubby stick eyeshadows from way long ago lol

I’ve seen persona at kohl’s too
I get most of my makeup from the drugstore closest to me, the CF brands they carry are elf, nyx, burt's bees, and pacifica. BUT this year they've started bring in some new brands like Kokie, The Balm, and Profusion.
I am slowly loving more and more from Kokie, they are the ONLY nail polish I can buy at my drugstore and their shades of polish are so up my alley. Plus they got Leaping Bunny certified!!! YEY!!
I looked at the balm but it was a little too pricey for me to want to try anything, and I usually start with eyeshadow and the palettes I saw didn't grab me :shrug:
I just got wanderlust palette on sale at Target! Gonna give it a whirl.

I'm actually eyeing a lot of these brands. Persona is very intriguing, if they ever come to a European retailer I'll probably try a lipgloss. The hyaluronic acid by The Ordinary and the anti-orange bronzer by The Balm have been on my wishlist for 1 or 2 months.

The Ordinary and Good Molecules have such great products at a reasonable price point. Tried Nabla this year. I like Sydney Grace better. Also have Menagerie and Clionadh on the top of my wish list. Low buy struggles. I've been eyeing the Sigma Enchanted for months. You keep it on my radar.
The aha/bha peel is amazing if you have keratosis pilaris. I use it on my upper arms 3x a week where the kp is the worst. I go through it quickly, but it's a price point I can handle and less expensive that the prescription treatment that is essentially the same thing.

I’ve always wanted to try kokie. I’ve never seen them in store though. I don’t believe in expensive brushes. The only thing I have tried from sigma is their brush cleaner. It’s the sig magic scrub, I have bought sooo many of those. I love that product from them!
I bought the Ordinary hyaluronic acid because of your recommendation. I've been close to buying things from Persona, Kokie and Sigma beauty. I really think I just need to lower my inventory numbers and then I can consider it.

I love The Balm blushes! I panned one of mine. I need the Mary Louminizer one of these days. I also have the Persona palette on my list. I am more knowledgable about the Indie Nail Polish scene...I want to recommend Pahlish to you, Kelly! I think you would love their products. You can find their site on IG. I am not affiliated...I just want to share the Indie love.
I have not found any retailers around me that sell Kokie Cosmetics, but they are on my list to try.

1- The ordinary : I tried almost 6 products, I'm love and I recommended 1 for my cousin
2- Persona : it was on my 2019 I want to try list , but I'm a color wearer, the 38$ identity 2 palette because I have those shades already and I want to try their Toffee lip gloss although I'm not a lip gloss girl! But they're still on my list
3- The balm : I tried all the products you've mentioned except the bronzer, I tried their nude dude and meet matt palettes (ok but not a favorite formul)
4- Kokie : I didn't hear anyone mentioned this brand more than you , I want to try and buy something I'll like or I'll need from thier line ! I need to search about their shipping because I'm international customer!
5- Sigma : I tried E36 E40 E45 and on 12th I placed a Beautybay order and got E58 because of Shae and F79 I think because of you ! Oh and I bought their eye primer in Ignite 😎 I m excited to get them
You got me on milani products tho , I heard a lot of people mentioning them all the time but you were the one who made me do it 😄 I've got the glowy powder , the eye primer and the matt statement lipstick in 14 : I'm happy 😄 and I'm so so happy and I wanted to try more , with my order I bought the pressed powder from milani! Duane Reade in NYC sells the Balm...or at least they did in 2019...I think they are a Walgreens company...hope that helps someone

You can actually get TheBalm on Walgreens's website! If you have an account with them, you can use your points towards a purchase.
Out of these, I'd especially like to try the balm (specifically mary loumanizer and mad lash), kokie (be bright concealer), and persona (eyeshadow palettes and lip glosses). Unfortunately these brands, especially the latter 2, aren't really accessible where I am. Better for my wallet though! Haha

The balm started to produce in Poland and my repurchases are not the same. I mean even the SECOND ingredient in the list is different. Changed the formulas of everything!!! Eyeshadow palettes and all. I've hunted down my favourite bronzer (the balm desert) in 4 cities and finally found one from a batch from US. What is also interesting is that the products that used to be good for 24 months are now only for 12 months :( Now they are of poor quality and dn worth the money in my opinion

I love persona's lip glosses but sadly I dont think they're fully cruelty free :( theyre not on logical harmony, cruelty free kitty, or ethical elephant and I emailed them with specific questions to verify they're cruelty free but they just replied saying theyre certified by PETA (not good enough for me since they dont ask for proof)

Have you tried the Trader Joe's Hyluronic Moisture Boost Serum? I think I like it more than the Ordinary, but I have never owned both at once to compare directly. When I had the TJs one, I would make a "moisture mask" where I would mix it with vegetable glycerin, face lotion, and oil (you need the lotion to emulsify the oil into the water based serum). And I would slather it on thick while watching TV at night. Sometimes I would just go to bed like that too. And my skin would be so glowy in the morning! I use the CeraVa PM lotion, which isn't cruelty free, but I have extremely dry sensitive skin, and so many of the cruelty free options have fragrance and essential oils. 😕 Do you have any drugstore priced alternatives? I liked the sample of the DE poly-protini lotion, but there is NO WAY I'm paying that kind of cash for a lotion.
Also, they have a moisturizing sheet mask that is very good as well!!

I think you could have done this video as "Underrated Makeup Brands that I Love" (or something similar) instead of pushing us to buy them. A lot of us are on low-buys or no buys this year but still want to watch you, even if you're talking about products or brands we don't own. Why are you telling us what we "should buy"?The people who aren't restricting their spending would probably still look into them just because you talked about them. Ultimately we make our own decisions, but this video is just weird coming from someone who usually encourages us to shop our stash first.
