    This is actually a perfect linux desktop workstation, and possibly windows. Looks like up squared will do dual monitors--wow! (Yeah he dead, he real dead...). You do awesome work thanks!

    Do you happen to know how it compares with Odroid XU4 and NVIDIA Shield TV in terms of performance? I'm interested in running Android on it.

      Kobi S iPhone autocorrect sucks. I did some videos on the Udoo quad already but the lack of development and low performance really turned me off.

    do you think we can use Win iOT on it ? is it possible to run "normal" software on it ? (i mean with win iOT)

    • @cliffyfromboro3878
      @cliffyfromboro3878 Před 7 lety +1

      Why when you can run windows 10 on it? It's not an ARM CPU so you can technically run anything you can on a PC.

    • @danielDUCTEIL
      @danielDUCTEIL Před 7 lety

      Because win10 need a licence but win OIT it is for small device and cain of free livence. So is it possible to run anything on win OIT ?

  • @williamhart4896
    @williamhart4896 Před 7 lety

    Im going to order the 2.5Ghz one, and look into adding a external GPU. Actually, does anyone know of any Mini PCI Express GPUs? Does that exist? That would be awesome. I could carry it around on battery power, lol. I would have to have a lcd screen though, but i know they make those to mount to raspberry pi, so that shouldnt be a problem. If anyone finds a mPCI-e video card that would actually be better than the integrated, let me know.

      There a multitude of iterations of the up board ranging from 100$ ones to 300$ ones. My best guess is that one around the 180$ mark should run it smoothly.
