My mom committed suicide a few days ago. I didnt see her alot because we were very estranged. I was put through alot of trauma because of her. My mother didn't want the family life and had chosen drugs over a child. In the end, she got sick, and it caught up with her, and I couldn't bring myself to see her in her deteriorating state. I had to learn everything on my own and never had the married parents and non druggie career focused perfect mom who's supposed to love her child and want to see them and not tell you it's a bother to have you around. So every mothers Day, I just focus on getting through it and understanding things are better now, and at least she's not suffering anymore.
