  • This video shows how to check and adjust your hall sensor magnet on the Surron Light Bee. This is a somewhat common issue and can be diagnosed by a shaky motor, then no throttle response. This video shows how to fix this issue without removing the motor.

Interesting. I imagine a machine key could help keep them from misaligning again. Finding a non-ferrous one that wouldn't affect the magnet might prove difficult though. Though titanium keys arent too hard to find

Thats a good idea. It really looks like its meant to have a key. Even a piece of plastic would probably work. I don't think this magnet ring experiences much force. It just needs to spin with the shaft

my sur Ron works sometimes, then will shut off, if I'm doing a wheelie or twisting, then I'll have to restart, hopefully it starts again, but it's happening more and more, taking longer and longer, more trys to reboot

Not sure what it is but its probably not a hall sensor problem

Thx, I got lucky and only a bunch of dirt in throttle.

My Surron light comes on, digital display works, horn works but no throttle, replaced the throttle, removed all sensors, replaced display unit, replaced ac dc converter still no joy, looked at the hall sensor and it’s as it should be so totally stumped

I'm having the same issues. It randomly started working for 2minutes then it just gave up again. I think it may be a connector issue with the plug and play parts. Or maybe even a faulty connection to the throttle or to the controller.
