Do you have the measurements for the correct spring size? I’m only finding them for Tesla Model 3.
I have tried to do it in my q3...i can't seem to find any space on the strut to put the spring in...any solutions?

Would it be possible to do this on an Audi A1 mk1. Or is it not possible because of the boot lock? If i were to change the boot lock would it then be possible?
Provided a car has a boot release button and struts this can be applied to any. The springs size and force depends on the weight of the boot so be sure to get the correct one

Does it work on the oem trunk struts?
Yes they do, just need to follow the steps. I tried it with a VW Passat and relevant springs. Worked well.

Would the boot open every single time I unlocked my car ..... that will be extremely annoying having to close the boot every time I just want to get in the car
No that would be silly and most definitely annoying. It opens with the boot button, you keep that pressed down to engage it.
