Horacio Accavallo - Was an Argentine professional boxer who competed from 1956 until 1967. He held the undisputed WBA and WBC flyweight titles between March 1966 to October 1968. He retired with an incredible record of 75-2-6 with 34 KO's. R.I.P. to one of Argentina's greatest champions.

Unfortunately Horacio Accavallo passed away a few days ago at the age of 87 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was an excellent Southpaw boxer/puncher who is most certainly in the conversation as one of the most underrated fighters in boxing history. The Argentine land has produced many champions, Horacio was one of the best. In 83 fights, he had only two defeats, the last of which he received at the end of his career. RIP champion. Thank you, Nza, great upload.

Correction of the description. Accavallo was never undisputed. Salvatore Burruni held the lineal claim until June 1966 when he lost that claim to Walter McGowan. McGowan then lost his claim to Chartchai Chionoi and by the time Chionoi had lost his claim Accavallo had retired.
