For heat 1, Eline Noelia - Ecstasy was amazing, she got all the high notes right. Heat 2 was pretty weak in my opinion so I'm fine with Farida winning it. Overall, Elsie Bay - Death of us is my winner. Such a beautiful song.
Ecstasy was amazing live and has a very good chance to compete in second chance so she may still make the final 🤞

She should have won that semi. And I say that as someone who wasn't convinced by the studio version.
I never realised how Give that wolf a banana is so catchy, I like so many songs here but it looks like it will be between Subwoolfer and Death of us. And Norwegians will decide if they will send dance crazy bop or beautiful melodic ballad. Fingers crossed. So many national finals are on February 19th but i will watch MGP

There's no real clunkers in this selection at all, it's all good quality. Ecstasy really surprised me live - she hit all the notes, and it came alive. I prefer Dangerous to Death of Us, but I'm not sure I want either of them to actually win the whole thing. Hammer of Thor and Give That Wolf a Banana are ridiculous earworms, in a good way. I could see Subwoolfer potentially winning Eurovision with that.

Subwoolfer reminds me of Verka, „The Roop, „baby Shark” and „what does the fox say?”. Norges will probably choose Give that wolf a banana or Death of us.

Daniel Lukas - Kvelertak,
Eline Noelia - Ecstasty,
Oda Gondrosen - Hammer of Thor,
Vilde - Titans (before I saw it live, if she gets to the final from second chance she needs to do better live).
Maria Mohn - Fly,
Sofie Fjellvang - Heart of glass,
Elsie Bay - Death of us.
And Subwoolfer - Give that wolf a banana.
I don’t think dangerous or black flowers should have won their rounds.
I really like MGP, 6 or 7 song added already to my playlist !
Ecstasy is incredible
I'm Norwegian so I have strong opinions on MGP: Compared to last year, this selection is not as strong, but there's still some good options here. My favorites are NorthKid, Elsie Bay and Maria Mohn. Sofie Fjellvang's song was co-written by Kjetil Mørland so I like that too, and I preferred Steffen Jakobsen to win Heat 2 over Farida. But I'm most looking forward to the staging of "Hammer of Thor". I feel like they could do some epic viking shit. Subwoolfer is fun (guilty pleasure), but I fear this will get killed by the juries if sent to Eurovision, even if it's well-produced for a comedy/novelty act. With that said, any of these mentioned would be an upgrade over TIX last year.
P.S. Even if Frode's song wasn't that exciting, I can still understand why he won Heat 1. The music is similar to Muse, the lyrics has a relevant message (climate change) and he really impressed with the high note at the end. Another factor could be that the songs he was competing against had some elements that were too polarizing for the average Norwegian viewer's music taste.

among them only Elsey have 1% chance for win. other - 0%
@@drdrnnnn8257 Actually Elsie got 18% chance according to the Bookmakers. Subwoolfer is on top with 47%
@@Zardoch i know. I wrote what is mean. Its mean that most chance have Subwolfer, Elsey had a bit chance only because she is popular in Norway. Others haven't any chance

To be frank, Farida won the weakest of the semi-final heats, the songs were just really weak. Imo the first or the fourth was probably the strongest heat we had in terms of quality of songs
If I'm honest when I listened to the studio versions I didn't feel much with Heat 1 but I felt Heat 2 would be cut-throat. In the end I was left disappointed, Farida's low notes didn't seem to have the same effect live as they did on studio, and Daniel's dancing was a little weird, like he wasn't sure what to do, not much confidence there, plus the fact that the song doesn't really build up meant they had to compensate with the staging and that just didn't happen. Bad baby also disappointed me a bit, it felt like Lily didn't have enough stage presence to equate the strength of her song. All in all I would have chosen the country song, it was the one that hurt me the least, but oh well, Farida was already fan favorite before the competition went down, so...
Also I am one of the weirdos who doesn't really like Death of us and would rather have Subwoolfer win, but to be fair, the other heats also have great entries and if say Fly or Made of glass won I would also be okay with that. But how they look on stage remains to be seen.

I am only compelled by a couple of songs from NMGP. Mostly 'Death of Us' & 'Give this wolf a banana'.
Neither winner of the heats so far have a chance to win. Honestly, their competition was not that strong. Frode should have lost to Ecstasy. Farida probably deserved to win her semi. Hoping the other 2 heats deliver some better live performances.

I have to say ... I liked a lot of these studio cuts, but some of my favorites fell flat in the first 2 heats. The winners of the semis have been very unpredictable. I would not have predicted those winners going in.
I think everyone is feeling Subwoofer but I'm not really. I'm not a fan of novelty entries and even though it certainly is fun, it's just not my bag.
MGP this year is definitely a two horse race: Elsie and Subwoofer. Elsie's performance needs to be improved so Subwoofer's chances are looking good. Even if she improves the performance I still think Subwoofer has more televote appeal.
The heat winners have been really surprising to me this year. I feel like Black Flowers seemed like the least likely song to qualify from it's heat so it surprised me when it qualified. I thought Dangerous was super overhyped so I was surprised when she qualified too as I thought Steffan or Lily would have made it. My prediction for the winners of the next two heats are Your Loss/Titans for Heat 3 and Fly/Made of Glass for Heat 4.
For the second chance, I think everyone reckons Eline but that's not certain. I feel like Norway may go for Steffan or a song from the two upcoming heats. It may also go to someone who was knocked out in the first duel (like Faith Bloody Faith last year)
I admit that Subwoolfer is a bigger favourite, but I keep cheering for Hammer Of Thor because it has the obvious ethnic elements. I've given up on Death Of Us - the chorus is boring. "Dangerous" is weak.

Norway, what's going on? With that quality I mean? You were just robbin' KEiiNO last year, 'cause you really wanted to be 18th with some basic kitsch song that only got out of the Semi because of a publicity stunt. I guess those Wolfs and Elsie can do something. But I don't know. =\
