@@TUZOIVAN16 in a few words because the simple gameplay, with cut scenes during the matches and compete in a word youth cup (the manga arc took inspirations in the final match against Brazil).
The mangaka Yoichi Takahashi supervised the game developments

@@TUZOIVAN16 5 or 6 minutes if I correctly recall. Cap Tusubasa III have improved mechanics and graphics, but the story isn't so good (in my opinion)

Like how Pokkén finally gave us a Pokémon game that looked like what we imagined back on the GameBoy.

@@MrVariant To be fair the original games were already somewhat removed from the more traditional JRPGs of the time with the dots on the radar simbolizing the players actively moving on the field.
There was a breaking point during the Captain Tsubasa J years. Some like the GBC ones and Aratanaru Densetsu Joshou clearly opting for the RPG route but others like Hasha no Shögö Campione pioneered experimenting this formula and then The Way To The World Youth pretty much establishing the format that's more popular today all the way back in late 1994.
Personally I think these new games from the 2010s and 2020s clearly inspired by Get Into The Tomorrow for PSX, The Way To The World Youth for the SNES, Ougon Sedai No Chosn for the GameCube, the New Kick Off for the Nintendo DS on gamepkay, and the cards from Eikou No Kiseki on the GBA; strike a fair balance between the old and the new. Heck they even have halftime cutscenes and coaching related stuff like the NES games had half time preparations wasn't created during the FIFA era of games, it came from CT games on the NES.
@@BurnRoddy quite the history. I don't really know too much outside NES, SNES, a DS one that was put in Europe but not US, and the switch one which I love to mock, though it has its moments.
A mix between Vol 2 Super Striker & Rise of New Champion would make the PERFECT Tsubasa game ❤️

Man this series has changed so much. I'm glad with how the 2020 game turned out though. I hope another one comes out after this. Captain Tsubasa Road to new champions was such a good game and it's very underrated too hopefully more people buy it for a sequel
I have stopped watching soccer at the age of 14 years ( 39 now ). I remember growing up watching all of these Anime action soccer shows and loving em with passion. Fast forward to 2023, 2 weeks ago I was hit with a advertisement for this game. I checked it out and then fell in love with it 💘. Can't seem to put the controler down Haha! And to remind you, I am not even into soccer anymore lol. That's how good the joint is 👍. I do play it on PC with the speed increased though.

At first i thought 3:43 is the closest game to the TV show... it has the field that's so long that you can see the earth curve, but then i noticed that it doesnt take 5 minutes to run from one side to the other and was disappointed.
CT2 on nes is a masterpiece. Best game ever created on nes and the best football game overall.
The games are so realistic it takes 90 actual minutes to finish a match

This has got to be the most experimental game franchaise. They reworked the entire system so many times through the years, and yet it looks fun on each one.

Captain Tsubasa II Super Striker is hands down the best in the series. It is a fantastic RPG as well! Almost all the games that came after it tried to move away from the RPG elements and moved towards mimicking realistic soccer game! The RPG formula works best for Captain Tsubasa games, as the anime itself is more like a non-interactive RPG.

Yep. CT 5 is missing in this video. Plus, the first game presented here is not CT 1, but Tecmo Cup Soccer, US "remake".
Asi es, 2:00 nos muestra la parte IV y 2:30 la misma version solo que en otro segmento. La verdadera V era de scroll lateral y otro tipo de fotogramas y animaciones (para mi el mejor de SNES ya que me los jugué todos) Saludos desde la cuarentena.

So Captain Tsubasa video games has always been known for its RPG style, eh? It's great that it has its own unique style to it, but I definitely feel Rise of New Champions is where the game really becomes a mechanical focused soccer game and I think it's a good kind of evolution. It did well to grab my attention and I do think there's plenty of people who wanted a real soccer game of the Tsubasa series for a long time. ^_^

en el super striker 2 jjajaja como me diverti jaj y lo jugue desde los 4 años y termine el juego sin trucos a los 18, esas melodias estaban chingonas, y lo que deciamos en aquel entonces aguas ya valio la tienen los malos jjajaja por la cancion que tenian, el soundtrack de carlos santana de el mejor, el de alemania ni se diga el de brazil me impacto cuando hizo su tiro acabando el 5 partido pero un desmadre en la final del juego con la cobra, el caabeza de melon, el rigo...parecia que escupian al balon cuando tiraban, pinches saltos de 20 metros y los ponian grises si les daban un buen afocon.
En ese momento FIFA sintió el verdadero terror
