The average morgana player doesn’t want to auto-attack and instead spam q’s. That checks out at my elo.
I like Morgana as a casual player completely independent of Reddit and making her have an auto focused passive instead of not do much of anything when her Q is down sounds way more fun
The reason pros play lethality a lot is that the pro meta is super early bot focused and it doesn't matter what build your adc really has if they're up 3k gold at 20 minutes so you might as well play the strongest early spikes with dirk. That being said, lethality shows its weakness when games go long and the enemy team has multiple strong tanks and even at MSI there was a good mix of on hit and lethality on varus and kalista.
under rated comment. The builds you see in pro play are completely different than solo queue. For example , tank junglers building knights vow first, you will almost never see that in solo queue because you're putting agency into your mid laner or adc which you should never do in solo queue because they will fail you and int lol.
And yeah at MSI when it was lethality kalista or varus, they were great in the early game but if the game went on for long against a big tank, then lethality looked like it couldn't do any damage in the prolonged team fights whereas on hit and crit adcs were out damaging them so much in the late game.
I totally feel that reddit echo chamber thing. I play Gwen and my opinion (and one I see a lot on the reddit) is that Riftmaker isn't very good on her anymore because of the season changes to it's omnivamp. It is still her most built item, even beating nashor's tooth. Though I wonder how much of that is because most players would never even pick Gwen outside of a tank counter and against tanks the item is better
As Diana/Camille player agree. There were a time were Camille REDDITORS were gaslighting everyone that triforce and titanic hydra were the best build and that Sunderer and ravenous sucks just because Drututt was in his phase of building triforce + titanic for fun. Let me notice that it was before any of Sunderer nerfs when the item was at it's strongest ever lmao People would legit attack you if you mentioend that meta is actually sunderer and ravenous and that some other amazing Camille otps like Liubai and Cereal are building Sunderer by calling you dumb or unskilled at the champ it's insane. Same in Diana subreddit where bunch relatively small but very vocal minority of certain low elo Diana players are obssessed by tank build and/or nashors (which is fine, build diversitiy is a good thing) but they have this delusion that ap Diana sucks and that zhonya and lich bane is worse than tank items on her which is insane. There are sometimes great insightinful posts and analysis in main subreddits but 99% of the stuff is complete echo chamber that doesn't represent even a 10% of the champion's playerbase yet they feel entitled and much smarter about the champion than others.

Well the average player also isn’t necessarily indicative of what makes a character more fun to play or interesting either.
i feel like lethality kalista is pretty useless, but pros pick her for early landing phase and if you cant get many aa in late you might as well go Lethalty.
and what elo are you, at masters+ i only see lethality kalistas
honestly with how annoying kalista is to play with constantly having to click where youre dashing and then re-click the champ youre targetting(unless im misunderstanding something)
i feel like attack speed being her best build is kinda weird and she shouldnt be an attack speed character since attack speed makes playing her more and more difficult/annoying.
yes i understand her whole thing is stacking spears and then ripping them out of people, but nonetheless, my point stands.

The stuff about morgana infuriates me the most, cause ofc the average silver joe picks morgana for Q and E, its simple and in some cases very effective, but thats not the playee base I think we should ask
Because that guy would probably get a gank from the opp zed mid, miss Q, die, start to build zyohnas and never be anything then a 200 power blackshield in this game again
The AA buff would give her a lot higher skill ceiling and make her gameplay not super boring

Also Zhonya is a core item for Morgana idk why are you saying like building it amongst first two items is bad.
@truetichma she is a support and the utility she provides with zyohnas for her team is only as good as people stand in your ult after ur use the item ans that's it.
Ofc it's one of her core items, but as a support it's just not fitting, especially with the changes to the items in recent history, which gave it more ap but no cdr and a higher price
@truetichma also the reason mostly joes play the champ is cause it's not a good champ atm
