I hope Jenna is still making art and doing fun crafts just for herself. As many others have said, "Calming, warming positive presence in a world full of chaos and everyone remembers the person that makes them feel like that” --> that's Jenna for me.
One of the things I’m curious about the most is if she’s kept doing here little crafts and projects even though she’s not making videos. I just can’t imagine letting a mind so genius is created “it’s seahorse time” go to waste just because it’s not on camera.

I understood something about Bob Ross, recently : He got 20 years of academic painting behind him when he started his show. So, he never tell us to do as good as he does. Instead, he kept telling us to paint the world we see in our heart (and not to copy him) and to keep trying, again and again. The first painting we all do, following his instructions, is always over-deceiving. But yet, when we felt something doing it, and learning from it, we do better and better as we keep painting. That is the true magic of Bob Ross : he made us feel better by ourself with our work, only under his advices, not his directives! And I can feel your emotions when you paint! That's truly beautifull! We should not care of the quality of the painting itself, but in the intensity of our feelings doing it!

I used to work with an art therapist, and the first time she brought out water colors, she had me use them with my eyes closed, and just focus on how it felt to put the paint on the paper. It instantly transported me back to being a kid, and helped me focus on some really hard emotions I had been avoiding. That's not how I did all my art, but it's something I remember and will imitate when I start getting too caught up on how the finished art looks. That doesn't have to be the point.
Art is never supposed to be a direct copy anyways. It's supposed to be your own interpretation. Even music!

I actually love that her channel is becoming videos of things that she just wants to do. Like not that she was ever not having fun, think we all know that was never the case. But she’s just so much of herself these days and I love it. Knowing that youtubers are actually enjoying making their content is so wonderful. Just love this lady

I find her content waaaay more enjoyable when she does whatever she wants. I wish other CZcamsrs just did whatever they wanted. Like yeah you might lose some subscribers, but eventually you'll gain new ones who'll actually watch the content you enjoy making.

HAH. My dad sent me a list of suggestions of how to handle job interviews that his college sent all students - I think this would have been the late 70s or early 80s. It starts with two lists, titled: "What Turns On Recruiters At On-Campus Interviews" and "What Turns Off Recruiters." I'm reading it like, wait, I want to do WHAT to recruiters? 😂 It's interesting how slang changes, often to the more sexual side of things.
A more modern example is my old roommate taught at a school where the students, completely unironically, would use the term "thirsty" unrelated to sex - they'd say things like "oh, she thirsty" and genuinely mean she's just really driven to get the scholarship or whatever. I know it sounds like they were trolling my roommate, but as far as I could tell, they didn't find it funny. Me, on the other hand, was trying not to laugh, because I'd only ever heard the sexual meaning.

@@Abazaba4051 I have a medical condition that makes it near impossible to drink alcohol and enjoy it. I know drinking isn't always fun and certainly isn't healthy which is why I wondered if she still did them or not. They're fun to watch but it's whether they're also fun to make that matters.
