-The lightsaber hilts were made from sink faucets. Go to the plumbing section of any hardware store and see what they have, then get creative. PVC pipe should fit perfectly, though you may need to tape around the base so it fits snug and doesn't fly out and hit your friend in the face. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

4. Dramatic Fatal Blow
All that’s missing are some one liners
It has been 14 years and this is still totally awesome. Lots of neat moves in a well done choreography, a bit of humor, nice kill moves. And until the end it isn't clear who will win.

I actually love this scene because then the cocky saber flipper gets immediately disarmed by his opponent. Reminds him not to show off.

I keep coming back to enjoy this short "film" because it is so beautifully made, and I delight in how the timing and shapes of the choreographed lightsaber motion, the camera angles and sounds -- all fit so perfectly with the music, with a trajectory of action and shifts in tempo signature that just give me the chills. Immense talent has gone into this work and it is greatly enjoyed!

this video was awesome. if i could guess the plot, i'd say that this was a duel between two jedi masters; one who has fallen to the dark side, and one who was sent to either redeem his fallen comrade, or to stop him at all costs. of course, the sith were interested in this dark jedi as well, and an apprentice was dispatched to facilitate the jedi's fall to the dark side by making him give into his hate, or to kill both jedi if he couldn't.
this duel's pretty accurate. they're utilizing distinct lightsaber combat forms:
purple saber: form v - djem so.
yellow saber: form iv - ataru.
saberstaff: form vii - juyo.
A yellow lightsaber is the mark of a jedi sentinal, who are the greatest jedi assassins, and a purple lightsaber is the mark of the most aggressive jedi warriors who have mastered both sides of the force. so your hypothesis makes sense.

haha. truth. but what's the sense in watching something just for it's sheer entertainment value and nothing more? i find it to be more fulfilling when, after the curtain's closed, i can sit back and think about what i just experienced. it adds substance and flesh to images and sounds and makes the engagement of the characters in the story that much more awesome! shit like this brings the 4 year old Star Wars nut right outta me!

I was 15 when this came out.. I started my fanmade saver journey with Art of the Saber; that, the Dorkman/Weber series, and a few others stuck in my memory banks.. this is one of those.

I am always amazed that people take the time to perform these amazing stunts and visual effects and then forget the simplest thing like shadows. Sure most people wouldn't notice but it always stands out to me that they are holding a big glow stick that casts a shadow and doesn't project light.
I remember watching this back a few years ago when Star wars was my thing, I am surprised to still be watching it. Probably because of the 7th one made me want to watch more star wars.

Oh yes, back in the good old days back when George Lucas owned Lucasfilms. Right before he sold it to disney in 2012. Those times were good times. We will miss them because now, the coronavirus is here & is active.
