New York passes the first digital Right to Repair bill!

Thank you so much to everyone who made this happen! This has set the precedent for the rest of the country, and the WORLD! This victory should provide the momentum that the rest of the states need to pass their own Right to Repair laws. The end goal being a federal law that covers the entire country. I can only hope that Massachusetts will follow NY's lead. Let's go!!!

Given the governor's track record and the overwhelming bi-partisan support for this bill, there's no reason the Governor wouldn't sign it, so I'm remaining optimistic. There's absolutely more work to be done though. The cost of parts is, and has always been, my biggest concern.
