I'm returning back home to Africa and I promise the one thing I won't be doing is telling any family and friends my plans or when I'm leaving! It feels like they project all their fears and reservations on you when you even mention escaping this place! It's sad when you fear the ppl who look just like you, but love the ppl who are the opposite and will never love you back.

Unfortunately, mental enslavement is more lethal, and our brethren are afflicted with that. Look for a CZcams video titled “Asebu paramount chief addresses concerns with Asebu Pan African village” even though I have land here in Kumasi, I’m looking to get a land here. This Chief is doing more than any other chief in Ghana or any African country.

I have been to Ghana over 10 times due to my sister being married to a Ghanaian. They have a beautiful western style home. While the house featured here is wonderful, we have decided to build a large traditional compound style home with modern amenities, in the Volta region. My brother in laws brother and our brother living on site to manage the build. We had issues with land that was purchased in Accra but it was all sorted out and we were given another property with a modest home already on it. That house is more than suitable for visiting family or for us when we want to stay over in Accra. Next we are looking to Cape Coast and Kumasi.
I personally didn't want to bring the same western asthetic to Ghana. While my sister lives in Ghana and comes home for frequent visits, I'll spend only part of the year in Ghana because I do have 500 years of ancestors who lived and died in America and I am conflicted about leaving their legacy here.

It’s going to be a nice house but the problem for is the land is too small. I like bigger land so I can build stuff in the backyard and have space on the side of the building
There is space on both sides and the rear for patio a type set up but not another structure. The one structure he has at the back left will make a nice bar and grill.

This house is nice. Just to ask please, what diameter or size of iron rods did you use for your 1st floor, 16mm, 14mm or 12mm? I learnt you have to reduce the size of your rod with the last floor, hence my question. Thanks

The trees and flowers will be between the house and the road.
Forget it. In Africa it's all about concrete and very big houses. Greenery and beautiful gardens are not that important for most of the people. You will see 1 out 100 with a nice garden

Well the cost of the land may vary due to location
This plot is on the main road, it could be about 10,000 dollars or so because it’s normally used for commercial purposes. You can get plots to build houses on for 2,000 to 10,000 in the city. Undeveloped land is normally cheaper. Now In more of a rural area, that’s far from town, you can get a acre for 2,000.

I am building mine what has really slow me down is my marital problem.After my wife passed,3 years later I found a beautiful Black American lady who I thought would buy into the vision but she has become a stabling block to this project since.She want us to use the money we get to go on cruise and fly from airlines to airlines which is really killing the dream. I am going back home to Ghana 🇬🇭 to continue the project because she cheated and now we separated. Be careful who you sell your dreams to.I am going to take my time and find me a country woman who I can trust and be in one accord.

I am torn between ghana and kenya. Kenya advantage over ghans, kenya is much easier to visit. Ghana made yellow fever vaccine mandatory to enter and I can't take that vaccine. Sad.
