@@words007agreed. The average village gets attacked hero saves the village movie. It was more of a setup for future POTA movies but I enjoy the concept of the movies. Humans vs Apes post apocalypse. Theres a deeper meaning in it.

They have a more robust theatrical tradition than in the US, and the anrts are generally way more supported.

@@chief5611 But the franchise has been active since then. You can’t just pretend everything that’s been released since then doesn’t exist. Today’s audience is familiar with PotA. We’re not new to it. Is she referring to the kids who have grown up in the past seven years and aren’t even aware of the 2010’s trilogy? Like okay, but I wouldn’t say that’s a large percentage of people.

@@lukedelrosario5881 I mean, 7 years is long enough that there kinda is a generation not familiar with the older series and maybe even the Caesar trilogy. Gen Alpha is between 2010-Present so kids of this generation might not be familiar to the Apes series or even the 2010s trilogy since most of them might have been too young for that too.
Planet of the apes franchise has been 40 decades ago, these past 10 years was the re-make and revisit on how it all began.

See this is what professionalism looks like. The actress watched the previous movies to understand the lore of the franchise and implementing it in her role in the new movie. Respecting what came before and bringing in new ideas into the sequels.
Which is something that the Marvel and DC are lacking recently. They are doing a disservice to the fans, the lore of the comics not being faithful to it. And calling them bullies and many types of insults. This includes some actors/actresses in those franchises as well. As well as people behind the scenes.
I just hope this actress doesn’t get cast in the MCU or the DCU cause they are in a hot mess right now. And she’s better off without those studios. And if she gets an offer for a role in those franchises, I hope she rejects it immediately. With this video, it is making me want to watch the movie more. This is how you get your audience’s interest in the movie.
Say what you will about MCU as you are spot on, but DC has been nothing but absolutely faithful the source material, which many don’t like because it’s not all flash and loud bangs with 20+ movies to “spoil” the audience! 🤨
