what happened with the pig is that because minecraft uses an AABB (that is "Axis Aligned Bounding Box") for performance, hitboxes cannot rotate and must therefore be square in footprint to make sense (the ender dragon is a special case as it is actually made of several hitboxes which move around to mimic rotation) because a pig is longer than it is wide, theres always some visually empty space in the hitbox. This means that while the pig was visually on the blocks diagonal, the hitbox extended to the very corner of the block or even further, quite far away from the pigs visuals (it is left as an exercise to the reader to prove via pythagoras that a diagonal pig's bounding box's corners have a higher maximal distance than one facing in a cardinal axis), and the supposedly clear shot clipped the corner of the hitbox. So yes mojang is to blame
Not only should the door go in the inventions database, the bartering farm should as well WITH COORDINATES. Coordinates for every stationary invention. So that someone looking at the database can find whatever invention is being referred to (and you can find them again if you lose them).

I think the glass collective does qualify as a pop-up, but if they give it a good floor and maybe some walls, it won't be a pop-up anymore. The Wolves of Wool Street is not a pop-up however, and if those wolves get blown up... I am writing this after the Pop-Up Purge but I'm a bit behind so I don't know what happens yet.

Its so wholesome, in a way that's hard to describe, how the Hermits all inspire each other by looking at each other's builds! BDubs built large trees, which inspired Pearl and Xisuma to build some trees. Pearl puts sea pickles in her trees, which inspires Mumbo to do it. Scar builds giant redwood trees, which inspires Mumbo to improve his trees! Its just so cool.
The scale of this server is so weird bc 7:49 you randomly see bdubs’ forest over the mountain like I thought that was so much farther away but it’s literally right there?? Like the difference in how spread out I thought the server was in the first week compared to now is insane
While watching iskall's videos about the demise pranks on bdubs, it really did seem like it was so far away. But it makes sense: the neighbourhood is like the farthest locality from Magic Mountain(like, Far South I think), and BDubs lived up North, so it would be closer to magic Mountain. And due to elytra bringing a larger area in view, it would be visible. I mean, remember when we thought early Boatem was such a big place, but when mega builds started popping up suddenly it looked like the starter base Boatem was so small.
Also dont forget the fact that almost all the hermits have some kind of mod installed that greatly increases render distance, so you can also just see way farther into the distance than you ever could in the past
a HUGE improvement would be terraforming the cliff face so that it provides more contrast and makes the forest and the builds pop currently it sort of blends in and we lose all of that beautiful work in there
Gosh Mumbo's build feels so good on magic mountain, especially being between Joel and Scar. Like Joel's build is the big city off in the distance while Mumbo's build is that cozy town or suburb. Though he may not have placed as many blocks as Joel he has really been mastering the small details. And the nature perfectly drifts from Scar's build to Mumbo's and vice versa. It is wonderful.
I know I really hope the Magic Mountain gang puts an emphasis on making their builds cohesive. With everyone so close together this season how your neighbors build connects to yours can really make or break it.

As someone who worked in a gold mine for a portion of my youth, the man portion of the lift/ elevator is called a cage (both in mining and commercial elevators). The cage arrives at the headframe on surface, so the top of the iron shop should be called that as well, methinks.

I think it would be very cool to have ambient cave noises/sculk sounds from within the pitch black of the iron mine - adds to the story/intrigue of the darkness
The horse bouncing away on Keralis' failed "vollyball" game idea is just too darn funny! It cant move as its bouncing but it keeps triggering the bouncer via hitting the pressure plate... i think that horse might be there forever... xD

The reason why your arrow hit the pig is that minecraft bows have coded in inconsistency and you can see this by shooting two arrows at the same angle and see them land in different spots. The reason why the pig died was due to bad luck.
the deviation at such range is quite minor, the reason the arrow hit was because of the way minecraft does hitboxes doesn't support rotation so the hitbox juts out a good bit for mobs like the pig which are longer than they are wide
It wasn't arrow inconsistency at all. He was so close that the two pixels it would have deviated don't matter. The hitbox for animals is square, and pigs are long and thin, so you can hit them from a good distance away from where they appear to be. That pig's death was *entirely* predictable, if you know what the game actually considers a hit on them.
Gotta love the fact that Mumbo doesn't want anyone shoping in his shops because then he has to restock and yet he still thinks of the customer experience so he makes shops where shopping is fast and comfortable

I think the cause of Neil Hamstrong's death was server lag. You released the arrow before you started turning, but the server registered it after you started turning. Maybe you could sue Xisuma for having a laggy server that ended up killing a pig. As for the invention database, I think that the door absolutely should go in there. Also, you definitely need to stock glow item frames before the Poe Poe get on you.

The reason why your arrow hit the pig is that minecraft bows have coded in inconsistency and you can see this by shooting two arrows at the same angle and see them land in different spots. The reason why the pig died was due to bad luck.

the deviation at such range is quite minor, the reason the arrow hit was because of the way minecraft does hitboxes doesn't support rotation so the hitbox juts out a good bit for mobs like the pig which are longer than they are wide
It wasn't arrow inconsistency at all. He was so close that the two pixels it would have deviated don't matter. The hitbox for animals is square, and pigs are long and thin, so you can hit them from a good distance away from where they appear to be. That pig's death was *entirely* predictable, if you know what the game actually considers a hit on them.
Gotta love the fact that Mumbo doesn't want anyone shoping in his shops because then he has to restock and yet he still thinks of the customer experience so he makes shops where shopping is fast and comfortable

I think the cause of Neil Hamstrong's death was server lag.
You released the arrow before you started turning, but the server registered it after you started turning.
Maybe you could sue Xisuma for having a laggy server that ended up killing a pig.
As for the invention database, I think that the door absolutely should go in there.
Also, you definitely need to stock glow item frames before the Poe Poe get on you.
