Chris Bryant says Rishi Sunak is 'literally the worst person' to be leading the country

- Chris Bryant has hit out at the prime minister, saying he is 'literally the worst person' to be leading the country.
The Labour MP made the comments whilst listing some of the things he believes the prime minster has not achieved during his time in office.
Bryant is the MP for the Welsh constituency of Rhondda.

Canada latest CPI circa 3% and US 4% means their bl00dbath reckoning in high rents and high unemployment at 4% helped squeezing the excess of liquidity fast. No more activist got hired and commercial real estate like Westfield shopping malls are shutting down. Nobody went out for weekly shopping in the 70s. That time Sunak was born
@@ssuwandi3240 the UK public during the pandemic got furlough payments for near enough 2 years (free money)..and rather than saving this money (alot of payments were frozen). . They went out and brought vans of toilet paper, brand new cars and new sofas 🤣.
We are now paying the piper. Free money for 2 years and we've gone from 10% inflation to 8% (and still dropping)... I'd say not one of those countries have done or undertaken measures like this to support its public..

He’s right Sunak is awful but the sad part is that all the current options within all the parties are awful too ! Sincere lack of qualified uncorrupted politicians who will serve the people & not their backers !
Don't really like Bryant but couldn't agree more. Sunak has no idea of basic economics even though he worked for Goldman Sachs. In reply to a question in PMQ's he said that higher prices were a result of inflation, when anyone knows inflation is caused by an expansion of the money supply. ie printing money out of thin air.
Is this the same Chris Bryant who wanted longer lockdowns and furlough? Where does he think our record-level debt has come from? Couldn't possibly be the £311 billion we borrowed for COVID...

If Labour were in power the cost of living crisis would be far worse and Britain would be in a recession so put a sock in it, Chris Bryant.
How the hell do you know that? Labour have been pushing for windfall taxes on the energy companies to lower our bills, that would have helped. They're also pushing for a windfall tax on the banks due to the enormous profits they will make from rate rises to help the public. What have the tories done?
They've given us the highest energy prices in the world. The highest inflation in both Europe and the G7 (higher than even Russia) and were now the only country in the G20 to have not grown past their 2019 (pre covid) GDP
@@stevec6427 Bryant has said Britain should not oppose unaffordable union pay demands, wants greater public borrowing and is opposed to exploiting domestic sources of energy. All of that would send inflation figures rocketing into the stratosphere.

@@MrPoetemaudit Right, the domestic energy sources will do NOTHING to lower bills. Energy is sold on international markets by private businesses. That means we pay the same whether it comes from the UK or Iraq or the US or Azerbaijan anywhere else in the world, the only benefit would be to energy companies who will increase their profits.
If you look back to the recoveries of counrties who spent following the 2008 financial crash and those (such as the UK) who chose austerity, which group recovered faster and stronger? It wasn't the ones who went for austerity. That is why Labour are suggesting we take this path.
We have massive shortages of staff in the NHS, roughly 50,000 vacancies unfilled and that number is growing rapidly. How do you propose they attract and retain staff without wage rises? As a comparison, the £35bn paid for the test and trace app which didn't work would have paid for every NHS employee to have a pay rise for four years when you take in to account the fact that 20% of that rise comes straight back n the form of income tax.
