    Apologies for the on-screen text in many places and longer video, there's a lot going on with these cars' specs and I wanted to get the most important info out there for you potential buyers! This video has chapters so feel free to use them. If you have questions about either car happy to answer here in the comments!

    Nice review which the engineer side of me basically agrees with. But I have an EQE, did not look at the Audi as I am a tall, big guy. Love it! The ride is ultra smooth, the sunroof is nicely executed, the maneuverability with the 4 wheel steering surprisingly good and the car is extremely quiet at speed with no wind noise. (and absolutely no squeaks). The interior design and human sensory design (btw awesome sound profiles) are typically MB luxe and make me feel richer than I am. It's the best car I have ever had...

    I drive a Tesla Model 3 LR and want to upgrade. I have done a lot of research on both of these and I have to say that you have done a really good comparison review of these two vehicles. I kind of prefer the Audi, BUT I live in Canada where the CCS "network" is even worse than it is inn the US so I would not consider buying a car that cannot have access to the Tesla Supercharging network.

    Nice comparison, Max! The Q8 e-tron is more driver oriented and better integrated dashboard / center screens design. But, I agree, a slightly used ‘21 e-tron is a far better value. Now that the Q8 is out, a pre-owned e-tron will be an even better value shortly.

    Thank you Max for a very informative and concise presentation. I thought I wanted to get an EQE suv until you outlined the value and features of the Audi. Kyle and Dave tend to ramble on and I appreciated your fast talking style and reasonable length of the video.

    Test drove a base EQE SUV yesterday with the regular suspension and the ride was horrible! Overall the driving experience was really not that much better than the Ioniq five. The high dash made the interior extremely claustrophobic. Came out of the experience extremely disappointed.

    Nice overview Max, great job. Wished someone was filming you, or maybe a tripoded phone camera, would be more professional and less dizziness for us viewers.
    Man, all those buttons in those 2 cars make me love my MYLR even more. My vote will be for a Model S, plaid at this price point, I will be getting me one for Christmas.
    Ty again, your videos are becoming more and more interesting and informative, especially when you interview heads or CEOs of companies specializing in energy, like with your recent Emporia interview. I also enjoy your videos with Dave, he's a wealth of EV knowledge.
    I am very happy with their excellent J1772 charger, and after your video I did contact them and I will be getting some back-up batteries from them to pair with my solar systems, as the Tesla Powerwall are so late on their deliveries.
    Hope you can have similar interviews with companies like Autel, ChargePoint, Electrify America, Powerwall, etc...

    The Mercedes somehow looks a more fragile thing. The Audi looks( and probably is), like it’s built like a tank.

    Lots of confusion about the tax credit: neither of these qualify if you buy since they aren’t made in the US. There is a different tax credit that can be claimed by leasing companies (up to 7500) that some pass along as incentive. This credit is not tied to msrp or buyer income either. Currently Audi FS is offering a 7500 credit on all q8 trims (even the 90k prestige)

    The Benz is just more elegant, if you like soft curves and more luxurious then I would choose the Benz , the Audi is more aggressive with its looks and seems like a sporty electric suv , the Mercedes commands respect

      I had a EQE as a loaner for 2 weeks. It was okay. The interior creaks when you press on it in some places. I ended up getting the Audi and it’s solid.

    • @linard76
      @linard76 Před 6 měsíci

      We compared both, the EQE interior is generally better. The Audi’s interior felt more pedestrian and creaked just as much as the Benz did in similar places.

    • @HKFIJIHK
      @HKFIJIHK Před 6 měsíci

      @@linard76interesting. I’ve used the EQQ for two weeks on loan. 300 miles on it and it creaked a bunch. I ended up getting the e tron where i couldn’t find a single creak. That was when I made the purchase. Maybe I’m lucky. But EQE body proportions in my opinion are a negative. Reminds of a loaf of bread. Nonetheless. Both drive nice.

      @linard76 Před 6 měsíci

      @@HKFIJIHK yeah, we weren’t impressed with MMI or the surprisingly busy air suspension. But what killed the week-long rental for us was when the every single driver assistance feature went offline for a full day, came back then went offline again.
