You should check out baja designs light bars, they’re great quality and reliable and they’re amazing lights, you can self maintain them to swap out lenses from clear or amber lenses and then with the different ones you get you also can get different light patterns since it’s enhanced through the glass they use, you’ll get that amazing throw of light to go far but also plenty of flood lighting too, I have baja designs lights on my can am and I’m gonna have an over landing setup for it and I wouldn’t go any other way than baja designs (maybe KC lights)
My wife and I watch the Epic Family Road-trip which is where I heard about you. We have a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe with the cargo bars. We are also full time Uber and DoorDash food deliverers. We at times find ourselves in neighborhoods without streetlights and could use light to see house numbers. Is there a low profile light bar which points both forward and to the sides with controls to use all or just one side illumination?
Hey! Lightforce have the Viper LED bars which have dual beam (combo beam) but both beams come on at once. (Spread and spot) However, Lightforce also have low profile flood lights which are great for side illumination which are called ROK20 Ultra Floods. Check them out on the website!
Dunno about QLD but in most states in Aus it's illegal to have 'driving' lights above the eyes of the driver and in some states they can't be higher than the car's OEM headlights ..
This lighting setup is legal and fairly common here in QLD. Shame it’s not legal in other states as there is great advantage to having a source of light above and below your eye line. Thanks for watching!
The only difference between "spotlights" and "light bars" is form factor. Many use very similar leds and optics. That's all. They're effectively the same thing. Pretty much every pro you said about the light bar is the same for round form factor led driving lights. Not many people are using conventional reflector driving lights anymore unless they already own them. Reflector style light sales have plummeted. Also mounting spots in locations a light bar can be mounted is often simple. You add a simple bracket and then use the spots mounting bracket. Be creative. You also can get colour filters for decent led, you can even make them by using film on a clear cover. A downside to light bars like what you have is legality(illegal in some areas) and you'll be likely getting glare off your bonnet in that install. That negates almost any positive of that install. Move the light back from the front edge.
Lovely, simple and concise video - no BS
shame you don't have a practical demo in night driving to show the difference
Please post some vids of some of the areas you go to if you get the chance. Keep the vids coming!

I believe it's perfectly legal to have lights there as long as they aren't used on public roads
Here I was hoping no aussie would stoop to calling it overlanding
Ouch

What’s your preference?
A number of advantages and a number of pros. ?? Aren't they the same thing??
There’s always some smart arse 😂 I heard that too but put it down to a simple mix up
Very controversial taking advice from dude driving a crap jeep in Oz when ya can buy a Patrol Td42ti coily ute or even a cruiser..
A jeep 💩? Why??….
ouch
What the fuck does having a Jeep have to do with anything? Are you that retarded that you can only take advice from someone who owns a pootrol?
LOL, an essential thing when talking about the pros and cons of different types of lights, is what vehicle you mount it on...
...or not🤦♂😂
@@AustralianOverlander LOL, You really are hurting from that relevant crapping on your car, aren't you 😂😂😂😂
