@@ananyapatel5845nis do not like it when a candidate is accepted but does not attend the uni, which is why local state schools rejected her. Are you a prospective undergraduate or graduate student?
@@SkyTheGuy8she probably wasnt a good fit for those schools. A lot of people get rejected bcuz of fit (missions, visions, values, etc), not because their not good enough

@@sulkel I will pursue undergraduate (btech) from India. I will be appearing for jee this year.

that's prolly cuz MIT prefers applicants with strong academics and doesn't really care about ECs, not so with the other unis she mentioned.
