Nothing like chasing a whitetail eye-to-eye from the ground. Very challenging but so rewarding when it all comes together. Killed my share over the years still hunting. At 67, still enjoy slipping thru the bottoms on the ground and encountering game. Keep after 'em!
nice to see a stick & string ,a pointer or two make sure you are moving into the wind or hunt a cross wind and when you sit you can"t move much unless you are well hidden
Love the content. I am an avid bowhunter, and would enjoy learning traditional archery, and all that entails. One thing i noticed, not to be critical of your technique, but when you sat above that swamp in the first part of the video your thermals were going down in the direction where you expected the deer to come from. If you ever find yourself in upstate new york your more than welcome to hunt here.
First time viewing your videos what ever you do don’t give up once you take a deer with traditional equipment you will be hooked forever , I am 77 now and just went back to a recurve and wood arrows two years ago and took a nice eight point the first year and a doe last year but I was in a tree and planing on hunting from a ground blind this year, it’s great to see a younger person taking up the traditional way and I red the comments that were posted on your hunt and you were given very good advice and remember people aren’t being critical, just telling what works for them that might help you thanks for sharing and take care.

Thanks for the encouragement!
Get that face and bow hand covered up and stick to the thick stuff. Lots to learn - good luck!
Thanks!

No problem, I welcome advice. Thanks for watching and i'll check the wind next time i'm in that spot.
I heard deer were color blind but they sure do seem to spot orange.
Their not good with colors, but they are always alert
